1. Add a role called Admin

   We really need a new role called "Admin" that we can give to a trusted co-manager to help run the channel backend. Right now, if an Editor goes rogue while I’m in the middle of a game, I have to completely break character, look away from my game, open a browser, and fix it myself in the dashboard. There’s a huge gap between mods and the streamer for handling these situations.
   For safety, Twitch should make it so anyone given the Admin role must have 2FA turned on.
   Here is what the Admin role should be able to do:
   • Add or remove Editors, Lead Mods, normal Mods, VIPs, and Artists so the streamer doesn't have to menu-dive mid-stream.
   • Instantly strip an Editor's permissions if they start acting maliciously while the streamer is distracted.
   • Still have all the normal mod powers to ban or timeout viewers in chat.
   Adding this would give streamers so much peace of mind. Knowing a trusted friend has your back with the channel permissions means you can just focus on gaming and entertaining!

   How do you guys keep making twitch mobile worse with every update you release? like for one, the mini player when you close out of the app on iphone doesnt work anymore, im watching and i tap on a notification and the stream just closes out, never used to do that a couple months ago, sometimes when i click on a stream, the screen just goes black with the audio still working, but then i exit out the app and the mini player shows the stream playing, i tap on the full screen, goes back to black, so i have to restart twitch. some more bugs here, im watching a stream, i try to scroll up in the chat, it just keeps rubber banding back down and wont let me scroll up, also the chat doesnt appear most of the time, cant reply to other chats sometimes, and sometimes i click on a stream and my screen freezes, i cant rotate my screen, and i have to restart twitch, i go to zoom in on a stream and it thinks i want to show the chat? like what, no im trying to zoom in. if you open the app and try to swipe scroll down it just keeps rubber banding to the top, its just so many little and big things that are so annoying with twitch lately. if i was making this review 2 months ago, i would give this app 5 stars and have nothing bad to say. and yes, my app and phone are updated to the latest version and i cleared cache.
   also replying to a chat is worse, double tapping the screen to hide or show chat is wayyy worse now, dont even get me started on the UI, i know other people hate it too. twitch is awful now, i recommend you guys at twitch to Fire the guy responsible for the ui and design.

4. Bring back ability to resize the chat window in the twitch mobile app

   The recent mobile layout update makes it incredibly difficult to read the stream chat. Because the chat window is locked into a fixed size, I can only see one or two responses at a time before they scroll off the screen. This completely kills the interactive experience of watching a stream. We aren't allowed to scale the chat window or font layout manually anymore. It is very frustrating and near impossible to keep up with a faster paced or high volume stream. Please bring back the ability to adjust, drag, or resize the chat box so the app is actually usable for active chatters again.

6. Have to force refresh or restart browser to show as subscribed

   Have recently encountered where I will be watching twitch and suddenly none of the emotes are available. They all show as locked, as if I were not subscribed to the channel I am watching. No emotes from any other channels I should be subscribed to show as well. Frequently used emotes is also empty. Trying to use an emote that is locked prompts you to subscribe. Forcing the page to refresh sometimes causes them to come back, but can require closing the browser and reopening it.

7. Clicking Follow Button on Brave auto-unfollows after a moment.

   Using the latest Brave browser, clicking to follow a new channel, unfollows after a moment. So long as the cursor is over the button, it remains in the follow state, but if one goes to chat, it auto unfollows. Unsure as to why this new adverse behaviour has been added, as it has never been a problem before.

   I propose an intermediate moderation tool between a total text mute (/timeout) and a ban: restricting a problematic user to posting ONLY emojis and emotes for a specified duration.

   Why it benefits Twitch and Creators (Key Benefits):

   ~ Higher Viewer Retention: Instead of forcing a user to log out because they can't chat, they remain active on the platform. The streamer retains the viewer count.

   ~ Toxicity Neutralization: Removing text entry strips the user of their ability to structure insults, malicious links, text spam, or complex hate speech. Emotes and emojis alone cannot articulate detailed verbal harassment.

   ~ Zero-Friction Workflow and Instant Adoption: It does not add complexity for moderators; instead, it simplifies their workflow. A quick, one-second command replaces the need to monitor a traditional ban, debate in whispers whether the user learned their lesson, or process lengthy unban appeals.

   ~ Universal Appeal and Chat Culture: This tool does not feel like a bureaucratic punishment. It fits Twitch's fast-paced, playful culture. The restricted user isn't pushed away; instead, they temporarily become part of the content by having to communicate solely through emojis, keeping the chat dynamic and engaging.

   ~Reduced Support Tickets: An intermediate tool prevents impulsive permanent bans, reducing the number of unban appeals that Twitch staff or mods have to manually review.

   How it works:

   ~ By typing /emojionly @username [seconds], the system blocks any text messages from that user. Their messages will only be posted if 100% of the characters are converted into system emojis or official Twitch emotes.

   ~ Mass emoji spam? Current bots and AutoMod already limit the maximum number of emojis allowed per message. Additionally, Twitch could automatically trigger a localized "Slow Mode" that applies only to users under this restriction.

   ~ ASCII text bypasses (like ¯(ツ)/¯)? Completely restricted. The system will exclusively accept Unicode emoji characters and pre-loaded official images.

   ~ Instant Mod Interface: Upon applying the command, the user's text box will turn gray and display the placeholder text "Emojis Only (00:30)". 11. Channel Point reward presets and filters

    At the time I'm posting this idea, I'm a moderator on Corey_Coyote's channel and it becomes a small nuisance to refund points for a majority of his redeems when he streams VRChat because he currently doesn't have his avatars set up to where Twitch integrated redeems would work while he's playing VRChat.

    For example: a viewer redeems "Balls" expecting a group of red balls to hit Corey_Coyote's VRChat avatar from a randomized direction, but it does nothing. So I would have to scroll through the request queue to find that recent redeem (which brings up another idea) and reject it which would refund the channel point value to that viewer.

    What I'm proposing is a way to preset channel points where if the streamer's playing VRChat without Twitch integration, the streamer would be able to have a preset enabled to disable redeems that would normally work on a VTuber model so the moderator, editor or broadcaster wouldn't have to manually disable then enable specific redeems.

    This would also save the broadcaster and their mods time from having to remind viewers what redeems don't work in VRChat.

    As for managing channel point requests, a filter to sort out the requests by most recent, ascending, descending, etc. would make it easier for channel mods and/or the broadcaster to approve/reject requests.

    Recently we found a bug that cause by slow mode. The viewer didn't break any rules but it get auto time out by another moderator, the viewer finally able to chat again after we turn off slow mode at chat.

    Let streamer customize the empty chatbox "Sent a message" text. Like "No spoilers" or "No backseating" or whatever. Maybe even give a option that you have to click "ok" if it's your 1st message. Could be useful.
