1. Custom time for Followers only mode (instead of 0 seconds or 10mins+)

   Allow the ability to choose an amount of time under 10 minutes for follower only mode. The jump from 0 seconds to 10 minutes is too high and there should be a middleground

3. Subscriber-Only Chat Command Responses

   Currently, chat commands are visible to all viewers in the chat. I propose an option that allows streamers to configure specific chat commands so that their responses are only visible to subscribers. This feature would provide additional value to subscribers and encourage more viewers to support their favorite streamers.

   Benefits:

   Enhanced Subscriber Perks: Giving subscribers exclusive access to certain information or features can enhance their viewing experience and provide added value for their subscription.

   Increased Subscriber Engagement: Streamers can create unique and interactive experiences for their subscribers, fostering a closer community and encouraging more interaction.

   Attracting More Subscribers: Exclusive features and content can serve as an incentive for non-subscribers to consider subscribing.

   Implementation Suggestion:

   Introduce a new setting in the chat command configuration where streamers can toggle the visibility of command responses to either "All Viewers" or "Subscribers Only."

   Ensure that the command response is only displayed to subscribers in the chat window, while non-subscribers would either see a placeholder message or no message at all.

   I believe this feature would be a valuable addition to the Twitch platform, enhancing the experience for both streamers and their loyal subscribers. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

5. Gigantify Overrides Emote URL Cache

   If you use the new Gigantify power-up in chat, the emote you Gigantify will permanently load the 3x URL in chat, shrunk down to 1x size. This can cause issues for emotes that have variations depending on size, or for pixel-perfect emotes (sprites) in multiple situations.

   Oddly, if the chat is not visible (in a background tab for some period of time [idle?]) at the time the gigantified emote is posted, any of the same emote posted while still not visible may use the expected size, rather than the 3x. I'm not entirely sure on the trigger conditions.

   Refreshing the chat resets this (because gigantified emotes aren't shown in historical chat, I assume) until the next time the emote is gigantified.

6. Pin chat messages to the bottom of chat instead of the top

   Pinning messages at the very top of the screen is next to useless. The fact is 95% or more of chatters just do not look allll the way up at the top of the chat. And why would they? The text box is at the bottom. All of the chat control buttons and the emote menu is at the bottom. It makes no sense for pins to be across the entire screen.

   This is so obvious when something is attempted to be answered through a pinned message, the vast majority of people just keep asking repeat questions anyway.

   The clear solution is that the pins should be right above the input text box.

7. mixed platform chat

   Okay so I think we're all aware Twitch says no to multi chat, I think it's a highly stupid and parasitic approach to maintain a healthy followership, let's face the facts, YouTube crushes Twitch.TV hands down in every feasible way in terms of daily use and volume. Twitches pie is shrinking, whether they or anyone else wants to say it, they now have competitors.

   Why on earth isolate the YouTube community from participating in a live audience or any other platform for that matter. I for one would have never found twitch had it not been for YouTube nor 90% of people IK, almost all people I've met have had their first exposure to a live feed via facebook, instagram and youtube.

   That's telling in and of itself, it tells me twitch prioritises itself and not creators and that multi-streaming is a peace meal to silence the community for an already parasitic relationship with it's userbase.

   I feel that if twitch were to allow multi-chat, we'd see in an increase in twitch users, we'd see an increase in return users or old users even ex users. This would allow communities to communicate irrelevantly of platform and reduce the need to "pick" their platform thus not creating the supposed ultimatum that drives users away. It would instead allow communities to transcend platforms and rather cooperate under content creators and drive healthy communication between separate groups.

   This would further grow and strengthen the twitch community as a whole which by it's nature is solely streaming.

8. Improvement suggestions for the new chat warning feature

   The chat warning feature is useful but could use some tweaks.
   1) Show the fact that a warning was issued to a user in all moderator's chat feed (currently it only shows in the Mod Actions pane in moderator view).
   2) Multiple moderators can warn the same user. If a user is still under an unacknowledged warning, it make sense that the 2nd mod gets a "This user already has a warning they have not yet acknowledged" message or something similar. Since they can not chat until they acknowledge, it cannot be for a subsequent transgression anyway.

   edit: It also appears that even with multiple moderator warnings, the user only gets one message to acknowledge.

   The chat warning feature is useful but could use some tweaks.

9. @media css recalibration

   Hello,

   I am using Google Chrome as my web browser.

   Problem 1:
   I always work with twitch in the back of my screen, taking ½ or 1/3 of the screen.
   Since a few months, I happen to have a strange behavior concerning the "screen @media" property in the .css of the HTML.

   Here is what it was doing and what it should be doing.
   ->Open chat, reduce browser size to the side, make the stream in theatre mode. Now stream is on top and chat is at the bottom as intended.

   Now here is what it does.
   ->Open chat, reduce browser size to the side, make the stream in theatre mode. Now the stream takes all.
   Now, the button that allows the chat to open requires the window size to be wider (about 2/3 of the screen).
   Resizing the window size to full to allow the button to appear, pressing it.
   Then make the stream in theatre mode, then exit theatre mode, then reduce window size, then put back theatre mode for it to work.
   There's a feature that got added and somehow made it change in some kind of way.

   That behavior is annoying and is not as originally intended.
   Some fix with the .css and minwidth properties (bit more complex) should fix all of this with some trial and errors.

   Problem 2:
   When a stream ends and it goes through the process of changing to another stream (raid).
   If you are to go back to the channel to select videos of it, the channel will redirect you to the raid again.
   You will have to go back once again to the stream to look for its content down the page as another stream will load as a suggestion.

   This behavior also changed last month or two.

   Problem 3:
   Sometimes I don't know why, the video media buttons take no effects and even reloading the page will not make it work. Not sure why, how and the solution to it.

   Problem 4:
   video buttons go off-screen (picture-in-picture & theater mode).
   this gets fixed after few seconds but remains annoying.

   Problem5:
   While hovering for example the volume inside the video media area, it will show mute in a context menu. If you are to leave the area with your cursor and comeback after 2-3 seconds to change the video time over that same button, it will wiggle infinitely because the context menu will still be there looping (mouse in video -> mouse in context and out of video) making it go crazy.

   Note: This forum could use a "Resulted View", not sure why my things gets bold effect in this idea review or the reason why I have to write in a 315x80 textarea..

    自分がよく視聴している配信では、差別的なコメント等が非常に多く、大変不快な思いをしています。配信を気持ち良く視聴できるようにTwitch上のすべての配信でNGワードを設定できるようにしてほしいです。ひとりひとりブロックしていくのはキリが無いし手間がかかります。

    There are so many discriminatory comments, etc. on the streams I watch most often that I find it very uncomfortable. I would like to be able to set NG words on all the Twitch streams so that I can watch them comfortably. Blocking each and every one of them is endless and time-consuming.

    For Emotes, I'd suggest a way/shortcut to copy & paste emotes, such as seeing one in chat you'd like to use quickly. Currently, as far as I am aware, you have to manually go into the Emotes tab and search it yourself.

13. Add a "trusted viewer" mechanic, and allow streamers to report bot pattern

    We need a better way to handle all the "Best viewers on" and "Cheap viewers at" bots. So here's my proposal:

    1. Add the ability for a streamer and their mods to mark a viewer as "trusted", that way those viewers can put links in chat.

    2. A "trusted viewer" could have a channel-bound badge, similar to VIP, that could be customized like a Sub Badge.

    3. If someone not marked as "trusted" sends a message with an URL, it should not show their message to others but shown to mods with a note and ask them whether to Allow, Deny, or Report Bot. Like an Auto-Mod.

    4. If they Allow, the message goes through as normal, and the mod responsible will see a reminder they can mark a viewer as "trusted"

    5. If they Deny, the viewer who sent it will be informed of its rejection.

    6. If they Report Bot, the message will APPEAR to go through, but only for the viewer who sent it, meanwhile in truth it was sent to Global Mods and Admins to investigate and append it to a list of "always block" patterns.

    So, how do we go about Bot Pattern? Here's what I think:
    There should be a global Bot Pattern list which streamers can opt in to via a moderation option called "Apply Global Bot Pattern Blocking".
    The patterns should be almost absolute, so if a Bot Pattern includes "Best viewers on", any message that starts with that will be blocked, but if it includes in the middle of the message then it shouldn't. Capitalization shouldn't matter, so "best viewers on" or "Best Viewers On" would be blocked as "matches bot pattern".
    Any message blocked as Bot Pattern would be shadow rejected, that is to say it would appear visible for the sender but not anyone else (except mods maybe), to make the bot "think" they did anything meaningful when they didn't.

    We need a better way to handle all the "Best viewers on" and "Cheap viewers at" bots. So here's my proposal:

14. Fix these fake sightings because they're already annoying

    Hello, I have a suggestion to make a system that will automatically block fake observations on channels during the last 2 streams on my channel I fell for this scam so to speak, because someone once bought me 600 observations and now 1200 everything would be fine if systtem twich did not count it as normal observations for example I unlocked several achievements that I should not get and my first achievement under the title “Build community” instead of 20 observations as much as I have is ******* 600 and when the system will update it will probably be there 1200. I like to stream and I do it out of passion and excitement together with a friend, but it's already annoying me, if such situations continue I'll think about changing the streaming environment for another.

15. Add settings to shoutout command

    add a setting page for shoutout command for how long you like it to be shown for chat to click on the follow button and how long of a delay before shouting out the next person or at least in the article page post how long it is up for so those to change things around in there channel for it to work with other programs more smoothly.

17. Routed Donations - the way how to improve the chat?

    I had the following idea on how to financially support Twitch and simultaneously motivate users in the chat. I call it "routed donations".

    This mainly concerns smaller streamers, with around 100 people in the chat.

    Often, I find that some fellow chat members are very helpful. And I have no other way to reward them besides gifting a subscription.

    What if there were "routed donations"? Donations that could be sent to people in the chat? I could send money: 1/3 would go to the streamer, 1/3 to the helpful chat member, and 1/3 to Twitch (for example).

    This would motivate users in the chat to be more active; financial motivation works like magic and would attract some new people to the chat.
    Twitch would partially solve its problem with donations because this money would flow through its platform, instead of 3rd party providers. They would implement user wallets that work exclusively through Twitch.

    Besides fostering a more engaged community, the streamer would have additional income.

    Twitch could even venture into the world of financial institutions since every user would have a Twitch wallet. This could lead to some interesting possibilities (Twitch credit cards).

    A long-term problem is the quality of people in the chat; what do you expect for free? Financial motivation would work just like it does on social networks, StackExchange, or Twitch itself. People in the chat would start putting in more effort.

    I would like to be able to hold a comment manually for review in chat if I'm unsure if a term is good or bad. I've deleted slangs that I thought were bad but turned out being good.

20. Have a confirmation for deleting whispers

    You can accidentally click on the delete button for a whisper and because there is no confirmation, the message just goes away with no way of getting it back
