Improve Conduit Load Distribution Currently, Conduits use the channel ID as the basis for hashing, even for user-related events like channel.chat.message. While this may simplify internal handling, it can lead to uneven load distribution—especially when a single large channel generates a high volume of messages. This results in one shard being overloaded while others remain underutilized.
Feature Request:
Add support for configurable hashing strategies per Conduit, allowing developers to choose the most suitable approach based on their use case. Suggested options include:
user_id – For user-centric events, to spread load more evenly across users.
channel_id – Maintain current behavior for channel-focused workloads.

Stop highlighting my own username as a raider As a streamer and mod, I love the 'highlight raider messages' feature, as it helps me to better welcome new viewers!
But i'd like to suggest for it to not highlight my own username, whenever I raid a channel I mod for. I feel like it's unnecessary information, as I know I came in with the raid, and it ends up making it harder to read the chat.

Categories I watch a lot of esports. I'd like to categorize players by their teams for easy access to scrims or content. Similar to an email folder, you have customizable tabs that you can add those you follow for quick access to what you'd like to watch.

Raid User Icon When a streamer start a raid to another channel, add the raider's channel icon next to all users that come from the raid for 5 minutes and set the title for mouse hovering to "Raid: Streamer Name" so we know that they came from the raid. Use the same icon that's already used for Shared Chats (sorry for my bad english)

OPTIONAL sound bits Please please PLEASE make sound effects/sound bits/ sound commands an optional setting to turn on and off. I have auditory issues, and I get chased out of so many streams because the community loves to activate and spam sounds.

search chat history In mod view it is quite convenient to have the chat history available to scroll back and see what a user has posted, however what would make it even more useful is for there to be a search or filter button to be able to look for chat messages from that user with certain keyword(s).

Chat history is not loaded when opening a channel directly When opening a channel from the following page, the chat will have messages that were sent before entering the chat (chat history).
if one now presses f5, the chat history will not fill. if one goes back to following and opens the channel again, the history is there.

Feature to "like" a stream Viewers could like or "thumbs up" a stream, like any post on social media. It would be great especially for lurkers who don't want to or can't chat, to still show support to the streamer.
Likes could be a single like per viewer per stream and they could be shown privately or publicly. You could also add an alert for likes just like for new followers etc.
I think this would be exciting especially for new and small streamers. I know reactions were a thing at some point, but I don't know if likes have been a feature before.

Users in chat verified. As an RP player, the issue of metagaming is very real. Streaming on twitch helps us get it out to the public for view but with that comes a risk. There have been a lot of times lately where stream viewer counts are jumping and the amount of names in chat are not aligned. I think it would be very beneficial for an option on twitch settings per channel to require a sign in to view. This would help to combat metagaming instead of having “phantom viewers”.

Quick reply acknowledgement When someone replies to a user's comment, the original commenter will have an option (within the existing copy/reply popup) to "heart" the reply. This will display a small heart icon at the bottom right of the reply, visible only between the original commenter and the replier.
It is a quick way of sending a "Thanks" without interrupting chat flow

Fixing Viewer Count/Community Tab So i can't be the only one constantly seeing the community tab fail to update. The accurate live viewers is never accurate to the community tab count, which always ends up showing like, 9 for example in the community tab, but the live count says theres 7, this needs to be fixed, it's making it hard to see how im actively impacting the community.
Please update it to be less slow update wise within obs and other extensions because i'd really appreciate a faster response within the api to know whos around or how many people are watching more accurately,…

/uniquechatoff is STILL not turning uniquechat off, it has been years. Sometimes my chatters want to send 2 hearts one after the other. I feel like this mode could be reworked perhaps. I want my regulars to have full agency - sometimes they want to spam in a friendly way which includes emojis copy and pasted twice in a shorter time frame than 30 seconds.
