Hi i want have the chat on top while video is on full screen mode. Can u implement that feature for full-screen mode? I like watching on full-screen and have chat on top video.

Quick access to last message of a given user When you are reading the chat and see a lot of @johndoe "Ah ah ah good one", we are curious about what john doe said and was so funny. To avoid the scroll, it should be possible to have an automatic scroll to the last message of John Doe by clicking on his name and select "see last message". Considering the scenario up here, his nickname will be present a lot (so not only be able to click on his name when he speaks, but also when he is mentioned).

Fuzzy search for users in chat (also for streamer search) Fuzzy search would make it easier to find and tag other users/streamers in chat, or to search for other users/streamers in the twitch search bar.
For example, if im watching @itsHafu, and in the chat I enter "@hafu" the results should show a fuzzy search results including users such as @itsHafu.

send reply not seen/read to whisper inbox automatic when over chat line limit i dont know whether this been mention or thought of before while the new replies work smooth and easy but there still be a chance the replyer would not see the replies in "afk" mode or miss it due to massive spam , what happen then , the reply would be deleted after it reach the chat line limit . could you guys make it so when reply is about to go over the limit be sent to the whisper inbox . of course there will should be few options for individuals person to optimization based off their needs

Remove Reply function Noone asked for this feature and it clutters up the chat.

Make similar sent messages in short time by the chat stand out for the streamer It happens that lots of people in a crowded chat are telling the streamer all the same thing. And the streamer still doesn't notice.
One of the reasons might be because there are so many messages and emotes passing by every second.
Let's say 25 people write the same line. For example: "Watch your bag". It would be very helpful for the streamer (and comforting for the chat) if this line is set apart on top of the chat for a while. Bolded or with a bigger font for 15 or 20 seconds. Persistent Follower-Only Chat status indicator Allow the "Follower-only Chat (!)" warning to be shown on ALL channels, regardless of you currently following the channel or not following it.
Currently, you only see this notice when you do not follow the channel that is using Follower-only chat. Upon following, this warning/notice goes away forever.
This creates two issues:
Streamers very often forget their chat is in follower-only mode for days or weeks because there's no visual indicator on the webpage UI unless you click into the cog-wheel menu. This may cause reduced chat activity or leave a bad impression for new viewers.

Streamer excluded messages. Sometimes its nice to only chat with the chat, not with the Streamer. Because sometimes messages lead to spoilers, which could destroy the play experience of games. It would be a grade idea to make sign messages, which the chat only could reade like: #x# "Testmessage with chat communication." So the chat could communicate with eachother and keep the streamer first playtrough game expirance.

filter On popular streamers you should be able to filter out all the garbage messages = minimum X unique words to pass and if >X words they also need to be mostly unique (except !!!!! maybe)... twitch is wasting bandwidth with spam messages. You don't need AI for this feature, don't over-engineer it. X is configurable.

Add "are you sure" for the Moderator's Clear Chat link Add an "are you sure" pop-up acknowledgement for the Moderator's Clear Chat link in the Chat Settings, to cover inadvertent selection of the link. I have on occasion hit the "Clear Chat" link when I was aiming for "Manage Moderation Settings" or "Switch to Non-Mod Settings", which annoys everyone in chat and the Streamer as well.

A personal slow mode or pause chat button Can we get a personal pause or slow mode button? In some of the channels I follow chat goes by so fast that I can't even see my own posts before they disappear and when I scroll up of course that does nothing because every new message resets the chat to the bottom.

Alias Twitch Chat Commands Twitch command aliasing would be a neat addition. Similar to aliasing in .bashrc on Linux.
The ability to set your own aliases for ingrained twitch commands. That way mods dont have to try to remember them, since apparently that is difficult for some.
In this example, it is aliasing the /marker command with /m. In the end both options would work (or as many options as people make).
On Linux it looks like this.

Similar to Settings in Security and Privacy to Hide Progressive Gifter Badge and Gifts Given Count. Separate regular Chat and Highlighted Message chat. So, my issue with Highlighted Messages is that almost all the time they get drowned out by the other messages anyways, especially with larger streamers. The whole point (To my understanding) of highlighted messages is to make them more visible to the streamer, which often doesn't happen for the reason I stated earlier.
So here's how I think this can be improved: Separate regular chat from Highlighted Chat. This way the highlighted messages won't be drowned out. Even though the cost, and by extension the frequency of Highlighted Messages will vary and could be low OR high, it still won't…

Separate chat box for @ messages. A separate chat box that catches @ messages to that specific user, i'm in a chat that move fast at time and i miss a few messages that people have @ me in so i thing a separate box at the bottom to show your own @s from other people would be great.

Channel-level Chat Choice Awards Expand the chat choice awards by platformizing it as something that can be done at the channel level with channel-specific categories and awards as well (could generate a ton of engagement). It would be a ton of fun for smaller and mid-sized channels to have things like favorite game of the past year and exciting games for the coming year (using a list of games that the channel sets).
