Music switch on twitch stream?
A music switch on twitch?
Would it be possible for streamers to put say youtube music or another program they are using in a seperate stream option so that the viewer can select if they turn the background music on or off.
For example: "I am watching a streamer. I would love to hear him talking but I have my own music on and I don't want his music to interfere." (His stream has the option to mute the music I click it and I can still hear his audio from game and microphone)
I was going to write this idea as well. Often I love the streamer. But their music is not my taste. So if his voice/ingame sounds could be seperate from his music it would make the experience 500% better.
I am sure such a big and skilled company as twitch would be able to come up with a switch or a coorporation with a company like OBS.
+3 This is one thing I have been hoping for for a long time. I enjoy most streamers music, but there are times when I won't even watch a streamer because I don't enjoy the taste in music. Being able to mute their background music and play my own would incentivize people to invest in more streamers.
+1 music could be streamed on separate channel too to have easy option for on/off.. (if would add such feature on OBS or something)
I agree, the other reason is that some streamers have their music up so loud that you get a headache, just trying to hear them.
Also some of that music they play, thud, thud, thud, along with the game music, sheesh.
