When are we going to see this great feature?
or is twitch only focused on adding useless features and ads?I know twitch lacks developers with skills, but this feature is really easy to implement.

This actually describes the feature I need!This was requested initially at Nov 5, 2016
but the feature is already half way there since we can have VOD tracks already...

Option for viewers to be able to select to view the live stream with only the VOD track layers configured previously by the streamer.
The VOD track can already be adjusted in OBS by the streamer for the VOD.
We need this same feature but adjusted for a near real-time playback.
If configured properly by the streamer, viewers can select only listen to the game audio and not have to hear the streamer yelling their lungs out, Text-To-Speech, background music, alerts, etc.. -

There are so many things twitch needs to improve/add but yet they spend time on adding or changing useless stupid features without making them optional...
I spent 2 days searching to find what I had changed... was looking into BTTV settings, chrome plugins and everywhere..Need a twitch client that "NEVER" changes layout without user knowledge/permission

Why is this not already a thing? We have all the rubbish icons and when it comes down to something useful we need to vote to get it?!?!?!?.

As a workaround, the streamer can setup OBS using the selective audio tracks for Twitch VOD.
Viewers can use a Chrome extension "Twitch DVR player"
Play the stream and on the bottom of the video you can see a progress bar from the plugin to rewind the stream and just click to rewind 5 seconds, it should play the stream using only the VOD audio tracks with just a 5 second delay from the active stream and will continue to update the stream and play non-stop.
(The same plugin in Firefox will stop playing once it reaches timestamp before the rewind was set, so its useless in Firefox)
