Verified accounts only enforcement by Twitch is bad optics
I fully understand the reason why a streamer to safeguard their security would want to enforce this but when Twitch suddenly decides to enforce this on a viewer accross the enire platform without reason it looks bad on Twitch. You are effectively suddenly banning people from all channels without warning or reason and it seems to be thousands of people maybe the whole of Europe. This can't be good for your business. This will also affect many streamers I follow as their stats will show less interraction now. Some form of warning or alternative email verification would be welcomed this seems a very blunt approach. People may think you're just wanting to get more money for our data!
