    Same here it's been like it for a month they really want our phone numbers.. Do they make more money if we supply our personal data or something?

    Same situation here I've been restricted like this for a month now. It's interesting that most if not all of the people similarly affected have been long term Twitch users. I'm wondering if we've been flagged as 'heavy users' and so more likely to give up their phone number to continue using the service. Maybe having 'verified' users phone numbers means they can get more money from advertisers and we're a kind of experiment.
