Sensitive social issues Bullet points need to be removed, not 'clarified'
it doesn't matter how much you 'clarify' the point of the final two bullets, they are not fit for the political category especially when contrasted with the other things in the category. Putting peoples rights in there opens up marginalized groups to hate and bigotry. We want the points REMOVED and twitch's response is completely missing the point the community has been making.
At what point does something go from 'personal experience' to 'too political'? if a streamer talks about their own right to an abortion being taken away where they live, is that personal experience or political? it is entirely subjective. Is a trans person talking about their experiences with HRT 'fact based'? Who determines this? The bigots who will undoubtedly mass report said streamers to shut them up?
"intermittent mentions of (...) sensitive social issues are not required to have the politics and sensitive social issues label" how long is intermittent? most streamers i watch like to have small conversations with chat about social issues, how long can these chats go on for?
I don't understand why you refuse to just take out the 'Sensitive social issues' point. It's what the user base is asking you to do and it is the right thing to do.

Come on Twitch. You keep using the same trick every time and expect it to work. We see that you always bring a terrible decision forward and then walk part of it back when you get inevitable pushback. That won't slide on this one. This is about human rights being listed as "sensitive social issues" under this policy. People's very EXISTENCE falls under this based on the wording. Remove the bullet points entirely. Do the right thing for once.

Twitch, the identities and existence of marginalized communities is not "sensitive content." This classification is discrimination and promotes discrimination against those people.

Remove the points like OP said. There's no way to have clear cut lines and bigots are just gonna mass report people talking about their lived experience. Twitch is being ridiculous thinking they can correctly enforce this.

Twitch, please stop endorsing illegal discrimination based on protected characteristics. It makes it incredibly difficult to continue to be associated with your platform, to say the least, when you're breaking laws whilst simultaneously expecting your streamers not to.

Allies are not political, either. Try again.
And stop thinking about how to keep bigot money flowing in. I don't care if someone shows up with charts and graphs and cherry picked data to say something bigoted in 'polite' ways.

twitch, you need to do better. we're not political bullet points to be avoided for advertising money; we're people deserving of our humanity.

Twitch discriminating against protected characteristics once again.
A person's right to exist is not political, it is *moral*. Twitch needs to grow a backbone, stand up to hatred and prove it is a moral company, not "clarify its position".

LGBTQ+ people are real.
Our voices are real.
Our experiences are real.
You don't get to decide if they are.
I have already received hate in the past on your platform for being Asexual, and doing nothing more than having a tag saying so. I can't imagine how much more I will get in the future because my sexuality is constantly called by bigots as 'fake' and a 'medial issue', therefore justifying a report.
This can only end badly for marginalized people in your community. To put it in terms your shareholders care about: This is how you make Youtube a streaming monopoly.

Would like to also know if we're fundraising for charities like The Trevor Project, does this now mean we need to label the content? It might not be the main focus of the stream but it's apparent so what do we do twitch??? Who is this really protecting?

LGBTQIA+ are a "sensitive subject" ONLY to homophobes, transphobes, ableist or psychophobic individuals.
"Clarifying" this instead of removing it is catering to those kind of people and their discriminatory views.
LGBTQIA+ people deserve better from twitch than to be categorized as an issue and a sensitive problem.
This is insulting and demeaning to them, from Twitch, and a huge dissappointment from a plateform which pretended several times in the past to be against harassment and discrimination. There's NO point in putting rainbows and pride everywhere and then call LGBTQIA people an issue.
REMOVE THIS. Do better.

LGBTQ+, race, gender, etc, are not sensitive social issues. They are identities. They should not be included in the CCL.

You missed the point. Having this label at all will allow people to abuse and target lgbtq creators because your moderation is incredibly abuseable. People will get suspended when they've broken no rules, this is not the first time.

Nice try, swing and a miss tho. Twitch needs to get the fascists out of it's legal team if that's the best they can muster.
The entire concept of this label of "sensitive social issues" having ANYTHING to do with discussing ANY SINGULAR OR COMBINATION OF CONCEPTS RELATING TO LGBTQIA+ topics, is itself an infringement of LGBTQIA+ rights, and by extension, human rights.
It is ALSO very much still "Anticipatory Compliance", which is how fascists get power, as I described on my previous post.
Don't do that, Do Better. -

You guys literally missed the point. Just remove people's rights from the bullet points! That's all! Everything else is whatever, just leave the minority groups out of your political circus act because it's not political. Leave the **** to the people that actually handle that ****, not your corporate pockets!

Let me clarify from my last comment, 'I want the rights promised to me by my own ******* nations laws" is not a political issue, it is wanting the most basic **** imaginable and the only people who think its controversial, are people that hate for the sake of hate, people who hate because it is easer than learning to them, people who hate us because we were born differently than them.

As a business offering services in the EU and many streamers doing this part- or full-time, this violates EU Directive 2000/78/EC against discrimination at work on grounds of religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation.
Also Chapter 3 of the EU Charter of fundamental rights. -

The clarification did not help and comes from a privileged point of view. Twitch says we may talk about our lived experiences, but we may not "advocate" for anything, and we must talk about things in a "neutral and fact-based manner." But who will determine if a person's lived experiences are truly their lived experiences or if they're "advocating" for something (like their basic rights—and frankly, we should not be put in the same group as bigots who throw around hatespeech or politicians who are campaigning when we're discussing our literal rights to live)?
People within the majority demographics already don't believe minorities when we say something bigoted is factually happening (such as politicians attempting to outlaw being trans in any way they can). Will minorities be punished for saying things that are indeed factual but that people within the majority are simply unwilling to acknowledge?
When you draft a rule for community, you have to think about how it will be abused by bad actors. I don't mean to be rude, Twitch, but it does not seem like whoever pushed this policy and the correction through thought about that at all.
