Sensitive social issues Bullet points need to be removed, not 'clarified'
it doesn't matter how much you 'clarify' the point of the final two bullets, they are not fit for the political category especially when contrasted with the other things in the category. Putting peoples rights in there opens up marginalized groups to hate and bigotry. We want the points REMOVED and twitch's response is completely missing the point the community has been making.
At what point does something go from 'personal experience' to 'too political'? if a streamer talks about their own right to an abortion being taken away where they live, is that personal experience or political? it is entirely subjective. Is a trans person talking about their experiences with HRT 'fact based'? Who determines this? The bigots who will undoubtedly mass report said streamers to shut them up?
"intermittent mentions of (...) sensitive social issues are not required to have the politics and sensitive social issues label" how long is intermittent? most streamers i watch like to have small conversations with chat about social issues, how long can these chats go on for?
I don't understand why you refuse to just take out the 'Sensitive social issues' point. It's what the user base is asking you to do and it is the right thing to do.

The language is still too vague, and will still be used to discriminate against protected minorities.

We. Are. Not. Political.
Having this bullet point heavily implies (and encourages) the FALSE, DANGEROUS and HARMFUL idea that basic human rights are debatable.
Your cowardly “clarification” has fooled no one. DO BETTER.

Twitch, please do better. This is so exhausting. It's hard enough for marginalized creators as it is, we don't need "clarification" that just makes things harder to actually understand. Remove those bullet points.

Twitch.
We are people.
We are not topics of discussion to be censored.
We are fighting for our lives. This isn't fun anymore. -

Again, the points are the problem. It's not that we didn't understand them, it's that they're bad from first principles. They need to be removed, not qualified.

The clarification didn't clarify much and it fixed even less. Please try again, Twitch.

My feelings exactly, it's not enough to clarify on whether or not what you're doing on there is considered sensitive content to need a label or not, with how vague it still is it can still be abused by bad faith actors looking to silence voices concerning gender, reproductive rights and more! On top of that this still feels very discriminatory--enough to want to have, say, the ACLU involved?

This is just ridiculous. How is this small change actually making anything better. These just need to not be in the thing. This is gonna put any marginalized streamer in danger. Hate raids already exist. This is just gonna open it up more harm and hate then actually make the platform "safer"!

this is NOT good enough Twitch. we demand you Backtrack on this Fully. Gender is NOT a sensitive political issue. it is peoples lives that are being targeted by Bigots trying to make it political. do Not pander to them, and ***** any advertisers that have an issue with it. its the Users of this platform that are doing the work that makes you money. not the advertisers. remember that.

The "clarification" is insulting. Remove the bullet point.

The terminology is still vague and is still open for abuse. Keeping it in the TOS will allow report abuse and silence the uses who this affects.
The issue at hand is those from these communities have been subject to non stop abuse. This will only allow them to truly silence them.

My existence shouldn't be used against me by people who don't want me to exist be it for my sexuality, gender, or race. Remove the social issues bullet points please

The vague terminology, combined with Twitch's terrible TOS "strikes" system, make this a breeding ground for report abuse.
Worse, this "clarification" does not clarify anything. If my "lived experience" is that I am being politicized, that legislation is being passed to further marginalize me, is discussing that allowed under this policy or not?
This change isn't progress, it's placation. Until we know, definitively, that we are safe under this policy, we have no choice but to push back.

We will accept nothing less than this horseradish being removed. A significant portion of your streamers can be driven away from Twitch over this, leading to a loss of revenue and Twitch turning into Rumble 2.0

Subjective rules and 'clarification' like this, especially paired with automated moderation, WILL be abused to silence minority voices. This 'clarification' changes nothing. Their clarification is really a non-answer, and really leaves too much vague.
I understand that Twitch needs to make money, and appeal to advertisers. But do you really want to be the company and site that will push your creators away, and at what point does it become too much. If you give them an inch, they will keep taking more and more. Stand up for your users and show that you actually care about the people that make a living on your site, and make your site money. This is a symbiotic relationship and these actions are actively hostile to the LGBTQ+ users and communities that you try to showcase when convenient, such as pride month and in your guilds. PLEASE take this seriously, and open a dialogue instead of just closing the topic and "tweeting" an answer.

The "clarification" is just as vague. How do you define something as being the focus of the content?

It is frankly insulting that the previous issue was closed and "Tweeted" about. It shows an incredibly dismissive attitude to the issue and the community as so many users are leaving X and deactivating over there due to recent decisions by the owner, which effectively cuts off all of these users from communication and feedback.
