Blocked Users shouldn't see my messages
Currently, if I block a person on Twitch, they can still see my messages in Twitch chat. I think it would be a lot better if a person cannot see the messages of someone who has them blocked, in the same way I can't see their messages if I have them blocked. It should go both ways.

100000% agreed why should someone I blocked actively be able to watch me??

Agreed!

Agreed! This should've been the case from the get go

What the heck?! How is this not a thing yet - block means blocked overall - instead twitch allows us to be harassed

This definitely needs to be a thing. I really don't understand why it has not already been implemented by twitch. Once blocked both parties should no longer see anything once blocked.

I agree, I think it should be implemented

The person who we had to block for our own well being and safety should not be able to see what we say and/or know our business. This isnt right. It needs to go both ways

IT should GO BOTH WAYS, what non sense. Lets make this change happen.

This function isn't shown as "Mute" or "Ignore", it's shown as "Block". The way it functions is NOT blocking. Words matter. Definitions matter. Twitch, please fix this ASAP. This is NOT operating as advertised. This is potentially harmful and dangerous as it stands now.

This is a no-brainer if your blocked your blocked and should not have any access

This should be implemented as soon as possible. It's potentially harmful in multiple ways for a "blocked" person to be able to have access what you're saying and who you are talking to. It would make twitch a safer space for everyone.

This feels like someone over looked an obvious thing. Lets hope its gets fixed ASAP. This is very harmful to the community.

wait... this is a thing?..
Who in the security dept thought this was a good idea -

Blocking should require both parties to not have the information. Twitch probably already has transcripts at the ready if legal matters are necessary, but that doesn't mean that a blocked user should.

it's shocking that TWITCH allows sometimes-dangerous people to still be able to see your stuff.

same as if you ban people from seeing your channel, they are banned for a reason! most dont know about the box you have to tick saying they are not allowed to see your channel! twitch start protecting people!

It blows my mind that this is the current functionality, if it were my dev team, I would tell them that is a bug and to fix it. "Blocked" means Blocked, still seeing messages is not Blocked, that's just muted/ignored. We have these words for a reason, shame on Twitch for allowing such a bug to persist for so long!
