Add way to send link to the list with specific sorting I want to send link to my Rated list, so that my friends would be able to see what games I like the most. It would be handy if it would be possible to send the link to the list, where everything is sorted from highest score to the lowest score. Currently, when I send the link, games are sorted by the date I rated them, no matter how I sort before copying the link

Removing Regional Divisions as Publishers There are alot of titles that seem to list multiple divisions as publishing arms for each region. While this can make sense for Developers like Ubisoft Montreal or Shanghai that are responsible for the creation of the game, it makes less sense for Publishers that serve as regional PR wings.
Ex. "Sega" vs Sega of Japan, Sega of America, Sega of Europe.

Incorrect game data for Snack World It appears the API result for Snack World (https://www.igdb.com/games/snack-world-the-dungeon-crawl-gold) is incomplete, as it is missing images, release date, etc.

Upcoming releases using advanced search There is the coming soon section which can be filter by platform but there is no way that I can find to see if there are upcoming games for a specific genre. Having the feature will be a nice way to discover upcoming games of a specific genre a person might like which they are not aware of.
Easiest solution I can think of is in advanced search it would be nice if there was a field for "not released" or "coming soon" in the years section. Any game which is not cancelled and is not less than or equal…

Tarot category is incorrect and/or missing At some point in the last couple of weeks there has been a change to the Tarot category. When you go into Browse and search for it there are no results, yet it does exist if you scroll to find it. Tarot streamers are unable to make that their category if they change from it, they cannot change back. When you do happen to find the Tarot category, it is no longer correct.
Tarot has been around since the 15th century and is not a game that was only released to Japan in 1988. There is not an alternative Category…

Flash games Greetings.
I would have liked to suggest a new category for twitch.
I'm only an amateur streamer, starting my journey through broadcasting and I was surprised to see no category exists for flashgames, or really small indie games in general.I think flashgames are an important part of the ecosystem and I would have liked to be able to showcase it during my lives.
Would it be possible to add it to the list?
I think "Flash games" as a name would be perfect.
What do you think?

make the release dates for games display in regional format all the dates for games releases are in USA date format. can you change this to be regional please? so it shows up as 28/7/2026 for me in the UK instead of 7/28/2026

Add ‘Big Fish Games’ to Store Link Big Fish Games is easily one of the biggest hubs for PC and Mac games. When I don’t find a hidden object or mystery game on Steam I go straight for BFG.
In fact, I often go to BFG first now instead of Steam. To me that indicates BFG is big enough to have a Store Link.
Adding BFG to the Store Link section would also allow, in the Social Link section under Official Website, the developer’s official website to be added.

Admins: Wait for a response before closing an edit's comment thread When an edit gets rejected, the admins close the edit's comment thread immediately. This is very unproductive, as it does not let the editor pitch their case for why the edit should be made, which leads to misunderstandings. Since there is no way to debate with a rejected verdict, admins should allow the editor to respond in the comment thread instead of immediately locking it.

Reporting duplicates The page https://github.com/twitchtv/igdb-contribution-guidelines/wiki/Duplicates references a Discord group to report duplicates. The group is now defunct. It should reference https://github.com/twitchtv/igdb-contribution-guidelines/wiki/Report instead.

API for unvalidated changes Would it be possible to provide an API for unvalidated changes? Either as a separate endpoint (https://api.igdb.com/v4/validations), or a different namespace for the same endpoints (https://api.igdb.com/v4/games/unvalidated).
One use case is that I want my admins to propose the changes directly to you but I want to display them on my website immediately.
Another use case is that I have other data which I need to link to IGDB items that are not yet validated. E.g. https://trendingnow.games/upcoming links https://store.steampowered.com/app/3897800/ which is available as https://www.igdb.com/games/poker-night-at-the-inventory--1/changes but not yet validated.

Company Website only exposes official websites The Company Website endpoint exposes only official websites and not the other types (e.g. Wikipedia, Twitter, …). E.g. https://api.igdb.com/v4/companies/56?fields=websites.* returns only https://www.valvesoftware.com even though https://www.igdb.com/companies/valve/edit shows the other links too.

Applications Hello, you can add Visual Studio Code and maybe there should be categories for Applications, such as Visual Studio Code and also Photoshop, etc.
( I use Discord and I would like to have the option to turn it on so I can see how long I spent in the program so I know how long I should charge :D, since I'm competing with a friend, I would appreciate it on Discord, thank you )3 votes -
Year Filter in Games Played List It would be helpful to have a year filter to quickly see what games you finished in the calendar year. You can do this with custom lists but an official feature would be more seamless.
