Lower payout requirements
As a small streamer, it's very difficult to get over $100 before the payout period ends. I have missed payouts because I didn't earn enough, and I know this is a grievance that others have mentioned as well. Twitch takes about 50% of our earnings so at the very least, allow us to get our minimal funds a bit easier. Perhaps instead of $100, make the requirement $50. This would be especially helpful for those brand new to affiliate status, and would liked to fund their streams.
Yes! As someone who is disabled and unable to work, so my only income is Twitch, I barely get payouts as I don't hit the payout threshold.
Lower it by a LOT. It is excessive as it is.
Excellent idea, especially with the cost of living sky rocketing; we need every penny we earn to pay bills, keep roofs over our heads, feed ourselves and our dependants.
considering all streamers already pay for the transaction/service fee
a 10 dollars minimum payout should be standard.
10 dollars is the minimum balance that amazon affiliates get paid out.
I would also like an increased payment frequency and bi-monthly would huge quality of life improvement for many creators on twitch.
With Twitch Partners leaving for other platforms due to Twitch taking 50% of their earnings regardless to how many years they've been streaming or how many followers/subscribers they have, Twitch's ineffective action on the hate raids, and other unsatisfactory responses; treating affiliates and new streamers poorly will ultimately end the desire to use Twitch as a streaming platform.
