Small streamers have absolutely no discoverability.
The home screen is purely promoted streamers and large streamers. There is a "Recommended smaller communities" category, but that is impossible to get on and a lot of the streamers in that category aren't even small!
They are 30-180 viewers which isn't really small. It is more average tbh! Please do something to help promote small streamers.
Either accept actually small streamers in the "Recommended smaller communities" category OR do something that that helps smaller streamers get viewers! Maybe feature actual small streamers on the homepage or change the channel sorting so that you can't sort high to low viewers! Maybe that would help.As someone who has streamed for 2 and 1/2 years every single week, putting 110% effort in whilst being severely chronically ill, disabled & housebound and still barely getting viewers as there is zero discoverability for small streamers.
Please do something positive for us.
We are completely ignored and we don't feel a part of twitch as we are treated so differently!

Would be nice if it wasn’t so hard for us smaller streamers to be found!

Being disabled means even though streaming is my only job and I put every ounce of effort in, I get nowhere. I have been streaming over 2 years and it is hard to grow when no one sees your stream as it is at the bottom.
We can't do all the things abled people can do. Why should be be at the bottom of the list with a few viewers because we can't network or do the promotion needed.
I do everything I can and need 3 days bed rest from 1 3 hour stream.
We should have some form of promotion and a homepage for disabled streamers would be nice.
We work harder than you ever could know but get no recognition at all.

This so much!
I am in the UK and not only is the 50/50 cut much too much, but the fees on top and currency conversions make it so we get almost nothing.

The split at 50/50 is horrific! Living in the UK as well that $100 gets nuked by Twitch fees, currency conversion fees and PayPal fees.
I am a disabled streamer who can't work and I am lucky to earn $5 a month streaming two or even three times a week. Would be nice if I could at least get a better cut rather than 50/50 which is dreadful!
I go hungry every single month and my income runs out. I can't work and live on £300 a month. I can't do any other kind of "work" and streaming is hard enough on my body, but when I do it, I am working HARD for pennies!
You take so much it is unreal. We should really get MUCH higher percentage!
I end up bedbound for 3 days from one stream showing how much I work and we get literally pennies!
WE do the work and WE DESERVE MORE!

Love the new disability and chronic illness tags but would be nice to have a higher tag limit!
Doesn't need to be dramatically higher, but needs to be higherSirenHellVixen supported this idea ·

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

Twitch reply to a user saying this intentional.
This wasn’t me, so I’m saying this as a third party:https://twitter.com/di0__0ib/status/1312781293319528448?s=21
I hope they change this! It’s incredibly unfair!

All raids count and all should give a notification.
Maybe add an option to turn off notifications from smaller raids if needed but don’t make so they don’t show at all.
Stop discriminating against smaller streamers.

I hate the home page auto play so much I won’t ever go to it! Please add an option to turn it off. Some of us will never play these streams from there

Yes! As someone who is disabled and unable to work, so my only income is Twitch, I barely get payouts as I don't hit the payout threshold.
Lower it by a LOT. It is excessive as it is.
