Clip takes wrong category name
Category changes are not reflected on clips, even when clipped whilst live, or in VOD. The first set category at go-live persists for clips until stream end.
This is a major problem as ALL clips then are mis-categorised with no ability for the channel owner to correct them.

Nov 2024 - STILL need to go into a source VOD, change the category, then generate the clip, then change the category on the source VOD back to the original game if more than one game was played in the original broadcast.
Any update on this Twitch?
But wait, there's more! After changing the category of the source VOD to the correct game and starting to generate the clip, the game shows correct on the clip preview page, but when you click to publish the clip reverts the game category back to the originally selected game from the source VOD.

This is a big problem if you play more than one game per stream and needs fixing!

If I create a clip from a VOD rather than an ongoing livestream, the clip gets assigned the starting category instead of the actual category the timestamp belongs to.
