Path to Partner Achievement should consider # Subscribers as an alternative/in addition to Viewers
Right now, the Path to Partner achievements depend on the number of average concurrent viewers (>75). Some channels have a smaller community but a large amount of monetary support benefiting Twitch. The Path to Partner achievements should be modified to support the high-quality channels that are attracting paying subscribers to Twitch but which might have smaller active viewing communities.
For example, it might be reasonable for partner status to unlock either at:
75 viewers and 0 subscriber points
50 viewers and 25 subscriber points maintained for 3 months
25 viewers and 50 subscriber points maintained for 6 months
Rather than keeping average viewers as the sole gold standard, which is easier to fake or briefly profit from with a surge of one-time viewership.
612 Avg Viewer, nearly 600 subs, 3000 In revenue. 2 especially good months with strong growth before it. I wouldn't be surprised if I eventually get them to say yes, but it's incredibly frustrating getting templated responses that don't make sense as to why you're being denied a 3rd time.
Echoing the past comment, this has been planned for a while yet nothing has really changed for the ways to get partner. Instead, I hear stories of people with more than the required stats for partner having to send multiple applications to get partner.
This idea needs more attention. "Planned" for over 4 years and still nothing on this?
I can see this going wrong where people can essentially "buy partner"
There is a huge gap between affiliate and partner. I think adding another rank in between would be great. for Example, current partners should be "partner+" and affiliates who are trying hard and have what it takes can be "partnered". Small success leads to the big one. After being an affiliate, it seems impossible to reach partnered...
so by this logic, me with a 12 viewer average and 270 sub points should be partner.
no, partner is MEANT to be hard to get. ****, affiliate should be harder to get too, and that coming from someone who struggled to get affiliate.
Dude I've been sitting at high sub points for months, but sub points mean NOTHING. Hitting viewership in the 100s isn't what I want when I'm so close and connected with my community. Can't we get Partner by bringing in lots of $$ to twitch, isn't that what they want anyway? I just want more emote slots and Partner is the only way to get it, but having to have 75 AVERAGE is insane compared to how much $ some of us can make.
Bring on some different ways to get Partnered please!!
This would feel so much more fair. Average views doesn’t equal money coming in. Average subs, however, does. It’s a no brainer. Partner the ones bringing in the money.

This, I have more subs than most of my smaller partner friends (or so I have been told by them). I have a very loyal community, but it is rather small 25-50 average viewers... but I sit at 80-100 sub points for the last 1 1/2 years.
As a small variety streamer, it is hard to maintain interest across genres of games, and it segregates communities, fracturing viewership depending on interest of whatever title I may be enjoying at the time.
I see no reason that gift subs shouldn't count. After all, they count toward all other metrics, such as unlocking emote slots.
I agree that there should be a sub standard that is set in stone to minimize the people getting partner from lurk groups.
So keep the 75, or raise it to 100 with 100 non-gifted subs (since you could just gift yourself).
Have that 100 also deduct host/raid/embed views to show a raw static number
Have this be sustained for 6 months to guarantee partnership with no shade of grey.
