Hey there!
Thanks so much for flagging this. Streamers should have access to their follower emotes. Please have any streamer who doesn’t have access to their follower emotes reach out in this thread so we can investigate this further.

Hey all,
Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback.
Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

Setting this to a partial release status as the majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

I see no reason that gift subs shouldn't count. After all, they count toward all other metrics, such as unlocking emote slots.

Being forced to delete an emote and reupload it for approval is unnecessary if we just want to change its name. For example, naming an emote "prefixLul" and later wanting it to be "prefixLUL" means deleting the emote and going a week or two without it while you wait for the exact same thing to be reapproved. The benefits of having a name changing option would be:
A) The new name can enter the approval queue while the emote is still usable under its old name.
B) Approving a name, rather than an emote and a name, is half as much work for those in charge of the approval process.
