Cool, thanks for doing that, now get rid of the feed and stories, or give us an option to turn them off and have an actual thing for the following instead of a tray that doesn't have thumbnails and closes randomly.

Why has this not been implemented yet?? The app is basically worthless without it. Myself and a lot of other people what to listen to other audio while watching a stream. We can already do the other way round, so why is this basic function not there??

Got it in experiment, was great and then was removed. If you’re concerned about audio ads, why not do video ads-only for muted. Or if you’re concerned about some usability issue, make it an option we can enable.

This is the only way to watch twitch and listen to a podcast or any other audio (iOS). I’d watch twitch more if this was kept, otherwise have to just not open twitch and use the other apps when needing the audio channel.

I’ve had access to the experimental mute button in two different app updates. It works fine. Stop taking it away.

Definitely necessary. Sometimes I watch a stream on the PC and talk in chat on my phone but can't go through other apps because the volume needs to be down completely (especially with minor delay in stream between pc and phone), it makes no sense that you can't mute the stream yet you're able to make it audio only. Either that or make a chat only app to allow users to talk in the chat room of the video they are viewing on another device

Really, just volume control in general, especially with how obnoxious ads are.

Indeed we can currently set the app to Audio only or Chat only, but no option to just say muted stream. This shouldn't be difficult to implement.

Being able to mute a stream would be great. I use my phone to monitor my stream quality while I'm playing and generally don't need to hear the audio. With iOS, my only option is to mute all sounds via the system's volume level.

Could be possible to link twitch with another voice track like DISCORD? Or at least a button to MUTE video on top of live videos to be able to listen through other channels (not possible in IOS)

We have an audio only and chat only option, but no video only option. Why?

I'd prefer a volume setting so I could set the volume in relation to other apps and alerts, with the ability to mute if I want to.

4 years, and still waiting for either an explanation of why this can't be done, or when they will implement it, fo a seemingly very simple feature.
