  1. The currently "experimental" reactions feature ( https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/reactions?language=en_US ) translates the "Love" reaction as "Romántica" (Romance) in Castilian Spanish. This has really bad implications towards the streamer-viewer relationship. It should be translated as "Me encanta", meaning you are enjoying the stream a lot.

  2. Greetings!

I would like to ask you about adding Belarusian localization and language tag to Twitch.

    Why?
Because Belarus-speaking community grows every year, and more and more companies are ready to acknowledge that. Among those companies you can find Google, Apple and more.
Therefore, it would be great if Amazon would join'em in this and add Belarusian language on Twitch. It also will be a great chance to support freedom in our country in nowadays hard situation.
That would be a big win for our society. Żywie Biełaruś!

  3. You give us the option of choosing our language. Why do you use another language (not even English) when sending us an e-mail (billing, payment notice, etc.) ? Please use the language we chose or, if not possible, English).

  4. As an Asturian user I love to watch asturian streamers. But Twitch plataform don't allow me to set that my videos are in Asturian because I can't specify that I'm streaming in Asturian I must choose: "Others".

This situation creates a problem for at least 600,000 people that speak Asturian because we have no easy method to find videos/streams in our language.

For that reason, We will really appreciate that twitch adds Asturian (Asturianu) language as an option on Language settings of Live Streams.

NOTE: that we are not asking to translate the whole platform. We only want an easy…

  5. First of all, I’d like to remove the eye symbol emote, as you know, some people on twitch are Muslims, and in Islam, eye symbol is haram (not allowed in Islam basically) so I’d like you to remove it immediately, second of all, lower down the ads, people are getting like 5-10 ads these days, yeah it helps out the streamer but still

  6. Please just add more language categories. It is not hard to type out a few more words to make a world of difference to Twitch users around the world.

So many promising streamers are locked under "Language: Other", which doesn't let them get the recognition that they deserve and would receive in their own language community.

  7. The Spanish translation for "While X is offline", at the main page, says "Mientras X está desconectado". This last word is masculine, making the phrase inaccurate for non-masculine streamers.
I think, in order to be more inclusive, the correct phrase should be something like "Mientras X no tiene conexión" or "Mientras X no está en directo", avoiding words that depend on the streamer's gender identity.
I didn't see this kind of mistake anywhere else, but I think this should be revised in general.

  8. Every single time when I'm on a new pc and I want to log into Twitch I need to receive a verification code to be able to log in. I'm from Belgium and I live in the Flemish-speaking (Dutch) part. This SMS however is always in French. The majority of the people speak Dutch in Belgium and everything else on Twitch is in either Dutch or English.

  9. The green pill that says "SAVE" in the "Save by subscribing for logger" dialog.
In Finnish version this is mistranslated as "TALLENNA" (as in "save file"). It should be "SÄÄSTÄ" (as in "save money")

  10. The Romanian translation for the most used word on this website is very odd and difficult to understand: "Redare in flux". You could keep it as "stream" or "live" or use something like "transmisiune".

  11. A tradução da área que mostra a última transmissão realizada, na página do canal, está incorreta.

    Exemplo: https://imgur.com/a/qkqtkE0

O "de" impede a presença do "há" no texto.

    Sugestões de correção:

    • "Confira essa transmissão de [categoria] de 4 dias atrás"; ou
    • "Confira essa transmissão de [categoria], realizada há 4 dias"

  12. English: "# Channel Points awarded to # viewer(s)"
Korean: "시청자 #명님에게 보생으로 # 채널 포인트를 드렸습니다"

There is a translation error in Korean at the streamer's dashboard > Predictions.
It hasn't been fixed since long time ago.

"보생" must be fixed to "보상" as "awarded"`s translation.
And "~님" is also awkward for Korean.

I suggest "시청자 #명에게 보상으로 # 채널 포인트를 드렸습니다"

  13. "Unmodded" tag is translated as "Χωρίς εποπτεία", as you can see here https://www.twitch.tv/directory/all/tags/532af76e-eabd-451e-9709-cd1cc7653edb which means "without moderator/supervision" in the Greek language.

However, on this page, https://www.twitch.tv/directory/all/tags is described as "For streams that feature gameplay from an unmodified version of a game".

My suggestion is to change it from "Χωρίς εποπτεία" to "Χωρίς τροποποιήσεις", which means "without modifications".

  14. The Albanian and Kosovo Twitch community would like their language to be easily accessible through the language tags as either "Albanian" or "Shqip", as it is way more user-friendly and allows for more discoverability. We're currently struggling to find new content creators, although there is a base of gamers and streamers in both Albania and Kosovo. Due to the lack of categorization, creators have a hard time getting exposure to our local audience and viewers can't identify these creators.

    Thank you.

  15. The Malaysian "Malay" language is very much different to Bahasa Indonesia, even though it has its similarities, are very much culturally and phonetically different that it could cause confusion if I were to label my streams as Bahasa Indonesia. Furthermore, Singaporean Malay also refer to their native language as "Malay", so I dont see why not adding the Malay language in the stream info setting.

Otherwise you could instead rename the "Bahasa Indonesia" tag as "Bahasa" instead of "Bahasa Indonesia" and basically combine them since the Malay language is also called "Bahasa Melayu" in its native language, but this is…

  16. Many languages don't appear in "Stream Language" options, meaning that viewers don't have the ability to filter and find streams in those languages, which is especially important for minority languages like Cornish (Kernewek).

Minority languages must be supported on Twitch alongside bigger language as the support is more important to them. Please add Cornish/Kernewek, the language of Cornwall/Kernow, as an option in "Stream Language".

  17. The message says "Det har vært gitt ut [number] gaveabonnement i kanalen!" This translates to "There has been given out [number] gift subscriptions in the channel!" This reads as if the number is the total for all users, not just the user currently gifting.

I suggest changing it to ""De har gitt ut [number] gaveabonnement i kanalen!", translating to "They have given out [number] gift subscriptions in the channel!"

  19. When publishing a vod by hand in the stream manager tab a popup says "Dadurch wird es für die Öffentlichkeit unzugänglich", which means the exakt opposite of publishing something. If something is "unzugänglich" noone has access to it.

Seems to be a translation error.

  20. I am so surprised with the discrimination against Tamil speaking people around the globe.
Canada, Malaysia and Singapore has recognised Tamil as one of their country's official languages.
however, its ridiculous to see 'Twitch' hasn't adopted/ignorant/discriminative towards one of the oldest languages in the world (older than Hindi, Urdu, Hebrew, German, French English, Anglo-Saxon etc)
Pls update your settings for twitch streamer to allow adding the Tags : Tamil
    Thank you!
