  1. I'd love a button that would allow viewers/followers to send me feedback on what they enjoy about my streams or things they think I can improve on that I can read through once I finish streaming.

Sure, there's the messaging system, but people rarely check that unless someone specifically mentions that they sent a message. I'm talking about a button near the follow button labelled "Feedback" or something of the sort and when clicked, brings up a short survey that has things such as "Communications skills", "Content", "Viewer interaction", etc on a list with bubbles you can click on to…

  2. I'd like to request that the stream streak timer be extended to a 48-hour window. The current 24-hour limit is incredibly unforgiving for viewers following streamers with irregular, early-morning, or "guerilla" broadcast schedules. It is highly disheartening to lose a long, hard-earned streak simply because of a timezone mismatch or daily life commitments. Furthermore, the system occasionally fails to register a view even when actively lurking on a stream. Extending the grace period to 48 hours, or implementing a monthly "streak shield" would make this feature far more rewarding and less stressful for dedicated community members.

  3. Introduce a feature that allows streamers to restart their PC due to technical issues without interrupting their Watch Streak. Currently, streamers are often reluctant to restart their systems when facing problems, fearing it will break the continuity of their stream and impact viewer retention. This feature would give them the freedom to troubleshoot without penalty or hesitation.

  4. So, with new feature tests that happen on a regular basis, it can often interrupt the viewer & content creator experience. As of writing this, a perfect example would be changing where the title, name, viewers, game, followers, and more, to be at the top of the video player.

Oftentimes, people see this change, and they have an immediate "I like, or I don't" mindset. This does not help twitch much when determining whether or not the feature is worthwhile for the majority of viewers because the people that say "I don't" tend to be much louder.

    I believe that…

  5. Add a setting for streamers to prevent the stream from being viewed by random viewers that are not signed into a Twitch account. This would be useful for streams that have marked content IE language sexual talk, violent themes etc. This would cut down on the harassment from bots and trolls that you have banned and are still able to view your live stream. What was the point of adding ban evasion and marked content if it's still viewable in any browser?

  6. The DJ Subsidy indicator's explanation to DJs is unclear. The order is incorrect, and the wording is confusing.

A more clear implementation would be something like this: https://i.imgur.com/pwABk29.png

  7. If we create a highlight of 1 minute or less in the video highlighter, we should be able to save it instead as a clip instead of a highlight.

The video highlighter is a great way of producing multiple highlights after a stream finishes. It is much easier to use for making multiple highlights of my streams than the mid-stream clipper because I can see markers, other clips, and create multiple highlights at once.

However, highlights are less useful on Twitch than clips because we cannot create vertical videos for highlights, and they are not surfaced as much as clips.…

  8. This is an easy way to improve many creator's experience. Partners and affiliates have access to this feature, however non-affiliates can only schedule recurring streams. For streamers that don't stream on a fixed schedule, this makes no sense and is frustrating to use. It is non-affiliated and non-partnered streamers that need this feature especially, should they decide they wanted to efficiently use the schedule feature. The workaround is quite the headache: Scheduling the planned stream and then hopefully not forgetting about removing it.
Please give everyone access to the "Specific Day" option when scheduling a stream.

  9. Allows streamers to put their music on a separate audio channel from their mic, for the broadcast.

Viewers will receive an additional music mute / unmute button.

Now viewers can turn off overstimulating music or listen to their own music. Great for folks with auditory processing disorders, or hard of hearing who need to focus on voice alone.

  10. Now that hosting is gone, after a raid, there's no evidence of where everybody went.

If your browser fails to raid, or if you get your notification too late, it's a ghost town.

If you put your raided channel at the top of your Suggested list and enable the options, then it will show up on your page, which is almost like hosting, and better than nothing.

But, it's difficult to do, especially if you have a long list of suggested/autohost streamers. You have to type the channel name and then drag it to the top of the list. Very…

  13. Twitch Partners mentoring Affiliates program.

Once you can apply for affiliate you also have the option to opt in to mentorship. You can be matched using categories (Chatting/fps/strategy etc.) with a partnered streamer to "Show you the ropes" after a quick review a partner can choose if they would like to mentor the affiliate.

The gains the mentor would get can vary depending how twitch would see fit to reward someone for being a mentor, but the idea would be if a partner where to take an affiliate under their wing they should get a portion of the income generated…

  14. Current chapter system is great, but it's only useful when you play multiple games during one stream. But what should streamers do if they play only one game per day, but have several matches or different gamemodes? My idea is to add new feature similar to /marker feature that adds new chapter into recent broadcasts video, because it seems that "chapter" is not the best name for game change. I know that it's probably a useless feature, but it seems that it doesn't break the logic of existing chapter system and that recent broadcasts are more popular than highlights (and…

  15. Some streamers have sub cams that only subs can see, and the streamer has to open another stream in a different account. And to be easier, it would be good a popup for sub cam.

  17. Hello Twitch Team,

I wanted to share an idea that I believe could greatly improve the viewing experience on Twitch.

Currently, stream audio is combined into a single audio mix, meaning viewers cannot individually adjust things like the streamer’s voice, game audio, music, Discord calls, or alerts. Because of this, some viewers may struggle to hear the streamer clearly, while others may prefer lower music volume or louder gameplay audio.

My suggestion would be to allow streamers to separate audio sources into individual channels/tracks that viewers could control independently during playback.

    For example:

    Streamer microphone
    Game audio
    Music
    Discord/voice chat…

  18. I would like to suggest the addition of a confirmation window when a streamer attempts to promote someone to a moderator. This confirmation would require the user being promoted to confirm their new role before it is officially applied.

The goal of this feature would be to give users more control over the decision and ensure they are only made moderators in channels where they truly want to take on the responsibility. Currently, users can be added as moderators without their explicit consent, and this could lead to situations where users feel uncomfortable or unprepared for the role.

  19. Allow for web links posted by chatters to be seen only (text only not hyperlink) by the channel and the mods, this way you can keep links blocked (except for mods and VIPS) and if someone posts a link that is from youtube or wikipedia etc., you can check it out by copy and pasting it in a browser and then re-post it if you want. I find it funny that all the viewer bots get their links through but a wiki or IMDB link from a community viewer gets blocked and mods and streamers can't see the link in…

  20. Twitch recently released its new mobile application version. However, announce commands are still not supported in it :(

    /announce [message]
    /announceblue [message]
    /announcegreen [message]
    /announceorange [message]
    /announcepurple [message]

Can we get messages related to the following commands properly displayed ? It's the only way to highlight messages in the live thread when there are... announcements to be made ?!

Actually, any messages sent with thoses command are even not appearing in the mobile app - in despite of the format issue.
