A New Viewer Experience Dear Twitch Team,
I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to share an exciting idea that I believe could take Twitch to the next level and significantly improve both the viewer experience and streamer engagement.
Currently, viewers on Twitch are limited to basic interactions like chatting or adjusting stream quality. However, many viewers would love the ability to customize and personalize their own viewing experience. I believe there’s a huge opportunity to enhance this by allowing viewers to interact with the stream itself, changing elements like webcam overlays, audio levels, and visibility of different parts of the stream.

Viewer Bounties/Challenges It would be amazing if viewers had the ability to provide challenges to streamers. In example, a viewer has 10k Bitties and starts a bounty with a starting amount say 100 bitties saying "If you win this Valorant round only knifing, you'll get 6k more". The streamer has like 10 minutes to accept the proposal during which the bitties are on hold so they can't be used up.

Create Highlights from an Unpublished VOD So there have been a few times where a VOD has to be quickly unpublished due to doxing or something we don't wish to keep in the VOD broadcast.
Currently the workflow is that after un-publishing the VOD and we want to make a Highlight from that VOD, to edit out the parts we don't want, we don't have the ability to do it. The button and highlight command is removed from the dropdown menu next to the VOD.
So for us to do it, our only option is to very very quickly republish the VOD, then just as quickly…

Be able to create Highlights from Highlights Hello there are times when we would like to be able to make a highlight from an existing highlight.
Situation, the VOD is expired or had to be deleted but we made a Highlight from part of that broadcast. There have been many times where we've wanted to create a sub-highlight from that existing highlight, for example a requested song or improv; or a great scene from a game or IRL stream.

Flags for "starting soon" and "ending soon" It would be even better if the flags showed up in the channel category somehow. As a viewer, it would be extremely helpful to see that information in the lists of "following" and "recommended" channels.

Mobile/Email Whisper Notification It be great if I can get a notification from my mobile or even an email for when I get a whisper.

Problem with TikTok sharing When you share a streamer's clip via TikTok it's easy to get rid of the handle in the description, all you gotta do is send the video to drafts instead of posting straight from twitch. People can steal your clips without crediting you, a twitch handle you be added TO THE CLIP ITSELF so that it displays when the clip is shared and people cant get rid of it

Stop showing commercials before I know what's worth staying through commercials for Too often the first thing that greets me is 1-2 minutes of commercials for a channel I'm not sure I even want to wait that long for, so I leave. This is particularly true if I'm browsing for something new and I click on a new channel. Most of the time, I just leave. Energy Level Indicators for Streams I wanted to suggest a new feature that I believe would enhance the viewer experience on Twitch: an “Energy Level Indicator” for streams.

Remove Twitch Turbo Twitch Turbo encourages viewers to not subscribe to creator channels. Twitch already keeps 50% of our revenue, and now subscriptions have dropped due to people now getting the Turbo. I believe that if there is such feature as Turbo, creators should have a higher revenue such as 70% from the subscriptions and gifted subscriptions. I personally have many viewers who stopped subscribing to my channel because they get Turbo and now they say they save money monthly since they don't need to subscribe to multiple channels. Creators are losing money.

Schedule api Hi there,
I try to automate most of my streaming tasks with coding and one thing that I can't seem to automate is the stream schedule which has to be added manually.
It would be great if you could implement an endpoint for the Schedule which could be then updated with the given categories, times and descriptions.

Mods should have Editor Rights and not need a second Role Sometimes on streams title and game category do not update properly and the only persons who are able to adjust that are Editors. Now these aren't always in chat/ available - mods are. They don't need all the editor permissions but at least these two would help out a lot, without having to give them a second role.

Add the Clip Editor functions to short highlights I feel like this is quite self explanatory. I would like to be able to use the editor to make a highlight in 9:16 format like I can do with clips, at least when they're short enoght for a twitch story / youtube short. It is annoying that I can easily make stories from clips, but when I want to share something where no clip was made, I'm out of luck and have to manually download everything and cut it by hand.

Toggle stream ad revenue Background: There is a strong trend as of late of people causing controversy or similar to generate interest and profiting from it.
An example of this would be a streamer string up controversy on twitter or YouTube which results in a surge of viewers on twitch who in general just want to send/view messages in chat.
So the formula is: be toxic or **** off a demographic = make more stream revenue.

Followed Channels Grouped by Game/Category Allow your "Followed Channels" list to be grouped by Game. I follow several streamers who sometimes all play games together (OTK, OTV, Smaller friend groups, etc). Often while they're playing together I'll learn of a new small streamer and follow them. If I want to watch a group of people playing Grand Theft Auto RP, for example, I don't want to have to search through my entire list to find smaller streamers I've previously followed. Depending on what's happening in the game I might jump from one streamer's channel to another and want to do so quickly.

gift upgrade Allow the gifting up upgraded tiers of a subscription even if the person is already subscribed to a specific channel. IE if I am subscribed at Tier 1 someone could give me a T2 gift and upgrade my current tier to T2 for all the benefits as such. still charge full standard T2 gift price. at the end of the 30 days of gift it the person has a re-occurring sub the sub would revert to the original tier and continue. if not the sub would just expire as normal.

An overlay the viewer has to exit out of which tells them "no back seating" People ignoring those little tags below the stream can lead to a lot of unwanted back seating.
An easy solve is to have an overlay or something over the stream itself, telling the viewer that backseating is not allowed, which they have to exit to see the stream.

note I want to be able to add a note to a user. This would be extremely helpful for both viewpoints of viewers and streamers. The notes would obviously be optional, so not everyone would need to use it, but I've been on Twitch since 2014. Most channels I follow I still frequent, but some channels I'm stumped on why I followed.
