Regarding the current Twitch Drops system, as I feel it is unfair to streamers in its current form.
I understand that Drops are designed to reward viewers for watching streams, streamers themselves do not receive progress toward Drops while they are actively live.

This creates a situation, especially for time-sensitive Drops. When a streamer is broadcasting, they are dedicating their time and effort to creating entertaining, engaging content that helps attract viewers and encourages participation in Drops campaigns. However, because they are streaming, they are often unable to watch other streams and therefore cannot earn the same rewards their viewers can during that time.

I believe streamers should also receive Drops progress while they are live and participating in eligible campaigns. Since streamers are the ones providing the content that makes Drops successful, it would be fair to recognize their contribution alongside the viewers.

A possible solution could be:

Granting Drops progress to streamers while they are actively live in a participating category.
Allowing stream time to count similarly to watch time for eligible Drops.

I appreciate Twitch’s efforts to support both viewers and creators, and I hope this feedback can help improve the Drops system so it feels more balanced and rewarding for everyone involved.
