Raids: Chatters not going over on raids
Please fix the issue with large portions of chat not going over on raids. Even me, the streamer, is left behind half the time, maybe more. We have resorted to having to shout out the streamer before raiding out, which is just one more thing to have to do. And it's not inactive chatters getting left behind... I'll be sitting there and people will be typing "Did I get left behind?". So, I'll say "Yep, please click the link guys". Then by the time I get into the raided streamers chat... they're already talking about themselves and the greetings are over. And there's always negative discussion from someone about how they got left behind. It's too much negativity and a pain in the backside. Please fix this.
This is only getting worse. I am currently never getting raided over on the official Twitch app on Android. To me, Raiding is the number one feature of Twitch, I just don't understand why something so defining to the platform still is so unreliable...
This is still an issue, I'm left behind on every raid no matter the streamer, I've never opted out of a raid.
This affects the viewers, the streamer raiding and the streamer being raided. Please fix this!
As a streamer I also have to shoutout my raid target before executing to ensure my community can find us when they inevitably get left behind in the raid. In my experience it seems to happen more on mobile than PC. As a viewer on mobile I am left behind 9 times out of 10.
As one who is often on mobile and almost always left behind, agree with this so much TheMatriark! Thank you for bringing this to Twitch's attention!
This is getting out of hand... raids are thoroughly broken. Its bad when you have to give a link to the person you are raiding so people can make their own way there...
Agree Wholeheartedly TheMatriark. Thank you for bringing this up!
This is ongoing and it really needs fixed. I’ve seen streamers raiding out with less than half of their chat. I’ve also been left behind in raids.
for MONTHS .. this has been an issue, in fact ever since twitch dropped the hosting function (if not before), but that the issue is getting worse it totally unacceptable. Twitch needs to realise that content creators on their platform are the very essence of their income (especially given the extortionate cut they take) and so should have been ALL over this from the start.
Not sure how this is still an issue! It's been, what... a month or so?
