Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Horror when the game/category is Minecraft/art/Just chatting/music is horrible. I got so used to the very beginning of one of the horror ads that as soon as I saw it start I muted the computer and walked away. And I play Phasmo and Demonologist.
Getting Spanish/French ads when I'm an English speaker (and reverse for those that speak a different language) is frustrating.
Give both streamers (who you are forcing to run ads in the first place and yes, we get it) and viewers the ability to make the ads actually work for them and it might get more interaction for the advertisers as well!

Add another to the pile... and adding "garnering interest" on it to maybe shut people up doesn't do it.
I don't have many mods and really only have 1 working "full time". He's disabled and can't afford a sub, and honestly I don't have the money to be giving subs to my mods so they can do their job effectively (still a small streamer and am disabled myself). Being able to have my mods be able to see and hear my stream at all times would make my work as a streamer a lot easier to do effectively and can help keep the stream running smoothly. If someone comes in and does something but I know who they are (even if they're new to my community) and want to let my mods know it's ok, I can't do that well if they're in an ad and my hands are full/busy and don't have time to type in that they're fine. And vice versa. I NEED to communicate to my mods verbally and ads don't help at all.
