They actually used to have something like this prior to 2018 called Pulse.
You can still technically leave messages on your profile using the panel functionality. (But I definitely think having an active Bluesky, Threads, or Twitter/X is wiser.)

-1 no thanks updating shedule means less time streaming content for me oh no

Even just the ability to add a banner message when you might be late starting, or a stream has been cancelled. Not everyone can/wants to follow you on various platforms to get that information, but they still show up for streams, so having an on site method of relaying that information would be great!

Having a whole community tab with several interactive features would also be awesome!

Yes! Yes! We do need more interactive things i agree to this.

100% agree, we need some sort of on-site community management. it doesn't need to be a whole social media platform for twitch, but something.

@Watch Party Team Hey, friends! :) Could you please consider and investigate this suggestion? Thank you Twitch support!

Make a community tab (like in youtube) where we can post updates, plans, get polls response from the community and where it is shown to the people following you.

I get images can be hard to mod but this will be really helpful since for now we rely on going outside of twitch and bringing people to other social media websites to give updates about stream schedule, etc.

Seriously huge missed opportunity. Would use this at least weekly if added.

Hello, I have a feature request that Twitch should highly consider adding to their site. The community tab is a great way for streamers to connect with their audience while they are offline or a way to update followers about up and coming streams/events or just life in general. Many platforms have this similar idea including Youtube, Twitter, and Discord. Thanks!

Not every viewer has a discord, or has joined the community but they wanna remain involved. This could bridge the gap between them.

Adding live announcements and update panels, suggestion boxes, community challenge hub (love these btw)

I had to take a few weeks off streaming for reasons outside of my control. A community tab would have helped me keep my regular viewers who don't have Twitter or Discord updated on the status of my stream schedule during that time.

This would be so convenient and helpful!!

It’s a great idea

Voted!!!!!!

coo

This is a **** idea. We most definitely need it

yes we need this
