Twitch Sings back, pleaaaaaase!
Please, please, please, we need Twitch Sings back. It was the best community and growth tool ever on Twitch... and I certainly miss my saturday night karaoke sessions!

I hate that my well thought out seperate post got merged into this and buried under a what appears to be begging post so it wouldn't get noticed and supported. Still no alternative for sings all these years later.

Bring back twitch sings, I know you give the excuse that DMCA forced it's closure but there are many big streamers who play copyrighted music on their channels dodging DMCA by using a stream filter in OBS that sends one audio channel to the stream and a different to the VOD that prevents copyright strikes, but they break the copyright and get away with it because they're big streamers (I won't name but I can and it's so common that you can literally go to any big streamer and see this) Others breach dmca playing tv shows and movies without permission and others even stream kareoke, all you've done is hurt the entire twitch sings community and you've given no replacement for the community and connections worldwide this offered as it was so great for so many people, especially when timezones suck as a great way to connect with people across the pond. The DMCA free "music to play" on streams thing you made and suggested was a replacement entirely misses the point of what sings was, it's been 2 years now and you've done nothing to stop the copyright breaches and people still abuse the system and just found ways around it meanwhile we lost sings which was the best thing twitch ever did. What you really need to do is find a replacement for this, whether you find a way to bring sings back (even if we have to pay a subscription to use it) or allow us to use it but not stream it and to still have the connections and duets and singing with each other as it would be greatly appreciated by many within the sings community many of which stopped streaming because sings went away, you've lost out by getting rid of it.

Is there any chance that twitch can bring back twitch sings?

@MeltingPenguins I personally think it was more a server storage issue, rather than copyright ones, but nevertheless I would absolutely agree with your suggestions and would be more than open to pay for that service, as many apps do.

This.
Now, a lot of people argued/figured it was shut down because it didn't make money.
But now there have been new contracts and agreements concerning royalties and all, so, maybe the following would be possible:1. Bring back Twitch Sings as before. Everyone can start duets, earn points to unlock outfits etc. All free.
2. Allow people to suggest and vote for new songs.
3. Alongside the old TwitchSings introduce a premium tier that brings the following advantages:
1) Early access to new songs. Let people on premium start duets with songs before anyone else (people on the basic accounts can cue their own version if they joined one until the song is released, maybe)
2) Start trios and quartets. There's a good amount of songs this would work brilliantly with. (again, everyone can join those)
3) Additional votes for new songs.
4) Ability to start duet and trio parties. (not everyone in the party needs to be premium, but only premium users can start them)
5) Maybe a premium tier on the monthly bonuses.4. Special marker for VoDs, so they don't get muted.
