Squad streaming as an affiliate???
Make squad stream available to affiliates???
Surely the idea of streaming is to have fun and share things with people???
You'd be more likely to grow to an average 75 viewers with the help of being able to stream alongside someone else.
Just seems a tad backwards to me, seems as, now I want to stream less in order to get my average numbers up, so that I can make partner, to then stream alongside my partners and co-streamers!

Agreed. Squad streaming should be for Affiliates too!

i know twitch partner already got Squad Stream I would like twitch affiliate to have Squad Stream because would be very good to network with partner to affiliate and affiliate to affiliate

This would actively make me stream more. Why is this STILL not a feature.

You could ban PvP.

I also really want this feature. They should add features for people who are affiliatewhere you can get more viewers.

It's insane that this still isn't a feature of Affiliates. I understand that Partners don't use it, but there's very little reason for them to do so. Where as with Affiliates it's immediately useful. One new person that makes a world of difference to them is shown several potentially different people to view.

It’s only been 3 years since it was announced…. Good thing we get **** instead of squad streams. #ThanksTwitch

This would be a game changer for me and my friends, give the affiliates power to expand their channels and grow!

On a business standpoint this can make more ad revenue to Twitch because not only affiliates would be able to stream together, it may attract more streamers and more viewers. So if you think with that in mind are missing out on a possible gold mine when you are limiting it to just partners.
People like watching players Co-op and be competitive together. With popular games like League of Legends and DOTA 2 as well as Stardew Valley and Minecraft, the grouping of people would be MASSIVE.
Currently there are ways around to do this no matter the streamer and this only proves that you are missing out on great opportunity!
fruit for thought

Smaller streamers should be able to stream with their friends easily.

I Strongly agree that squad streaming should be available for affiliated streamers as well as partnered streamers

I think it would be a very good way to be able to support each other among content creators. Like the creation of affiliate groups I would be quite curious to add.

I hope they add this option soon. If you guys don't know, on the twitch page for squad streaming, they stated the reason for not allowing affiliates to squad stream is because of transcoders. They need to add more to allow affiliates to do it (which it says they are planning for it).
"" We are rolling Squad Stream out to Partners first because of the need for video quality options (also known as transcodes) in order to ensure the best experience for viewers. Currently, all Twitch Partners receive video quality options on their streams by default, while Affiliates receive them as they're available, with priority access. Our plan is to make Squad Stream available to Affiliates and all other streamers as we continue expanding our transcodes capacity.""

I'm always streaming alongside friends so it would help the viewers a lot instead of having to have multiple tabs open - and I think it would also drive up interest on all of our streams as a whole

Huge vouch for this to finally happen, my buddy and I are both Affiliate and we do a co-stream once a week. Due to not having access to squad streams we end up using multi-stream which drives traffic away from Twitch proper (which I'm sure they would prefer to not be the case)

@sfgTvee Less is more. Target your streaming time to when you get most viewers (based on your post you should have ample data to extrapolate this). The average is an average of all, not part.. that's how averages work.

I dont like the Idea the way Twitch takes a ratio of hours streamed to create your average viewers or chatters..this algarithum is broken! Its no where close to fair, or accurate! So what im saying is if i only streamed 8 hrs as required i would be well above the limit needed to be affiliate..but because i stream many hours everyday my average is only 0.34 average when ive had raids , over 20 viewers at once for extended periods etc.. but my average because of time streamed is 0.34 viewers because of time streamed..You guys have to fix this. especially when you have a required time duration that requires us to stream for a said period of time to qualify. I shouldnt have to cut my streams short just to bring the average up..its nonsense and needs to be changed please! I have and many have worked hard to stride this average viewer count hurdle and the we see, (cause we streamed for alot of time)=(Commitment)then we see our average gets shot all to heck and keeps us out of the affiliate or partner program. Is this a scam by twitch? It kinda feels like it. Im just saying..this needs to be addressed ASAP for everyone. Please change this! Thanks for your time and support.
