  1. I would like an option that "Turns Off" the showing of how many Raiders have been brought in

I feel like putting a number of viewers to a Raid diminishes the Gesture.

Raiding someone with your community is an incredible gesture, with 10 or 10000 raiders. Having the option of turning off the display of how many Raiders are brought in would reinforce the strength of the gesture

Also, in some occasions ppl can be "embarrassed" to Raid if they feel their community aren't big enough

Perhaps we could have it set up where it shows the viewer in the…

  3. There needs to be a feature in the settings that allows you to stop raids for users on steam.

It’s frustrating to fall asleep during a stream you were currently watching and wake then wake up to a different streamer that you would never watch.
Here is an example: watching chill stream and fall asleep, couple hours later you suddenly wake up to a steamer showing/shooting guns and shouting slurs.

This option should be in the settings under “Autoplay videos”. Also should be accessible to both users and creators/streamers.

    This shouldn’t be mandatory.

  4. As some of you may have heard on Patch Notes, we're excited to announce the upcoming launch of new settings that will allow Creators to have additional customization over how they receive incoming raids. Here are the key features and changes you'll see upcoming in September:

    • Tailor the min/max thresholds for viewers, based on your needs! If you have missed 1-3 viewer raids, you can now opt to see those notifications again!
    • Set up requirements based on (1) account age and/or (2) channel type. For example, you can choose to only allow raids from accounts you follow, etc.
    • Additionally, you…

  5. until now when a streamer raided a channel it would be hosted too, so if you arrived late or the raid failed for you(happens every time on mobile when watching/listening in the background) you could hit the join button on the hosted channel.
with hosted channels, this is now gone.
the hosting system is reduced to just suggested channels.

if a raid fails or if your arrive late to a stream there is now no way to even see who got raided and no way to join in unless you happen to remember the exact name of who got raided.

  6. In light of the hate raids, I have been using the option to only allow raids from channels I follow. However, this is not the ideal option since it prevents being able to connect with other, genuine streamers that I may not currently know.

It would be nice to have more filters for who can raid your stream. I think a great option would be "only allow raids from affiliates and partners" or "only allow raids from accounts that are x days old". This will help prevent others from making an account just to immediately hate raiding a stream.

  7. Mediante una encuesta el viewer vota a qué canal prefiere ser redirigido. Los que no voten irán al main option elegido por el streamer.

  8. It seems since the Host feature was removed yesterday, I am unable to raid to another streamer for the 2nd day in a row. Any idea on if the Raid feature will be operational soon or what for us small streamers?

  9. The DJ community regularly creates multi-DJ events ("Raid Trains") where DJs take turns doing a set for a predetermined amount of time and then raid the next channel on the schedule. These events can last anywhere from a few hours up to several days. Twitch needs a feature where a user could "follow" the raid train and allow them to pop in at any time. Currently, you'd have to know which channel in the raid train is broadcasting at the given hour, search for them and then join. In a 4-day raid train with 90 DJs, this can be a…

  10. Currently the Raid Channel button on the Creator Dashboard only lists live channels that the streamer is following. This is just helping to make the large channels larger and gain more viewers/followers, while smaller channels with not as many followers get left behind. There should be an option for small streamers (say, about 50 or less concurrent viewers) to "opt in" for discovery so they have a chance to be listed as a "suggested streamer" when a streamer clicks that Raid Channel button.

Just going to note this here, too: About 90% of the streamers I follow and whose content…

  11. We're experimenting with Raids on Mobile! This feature will be rolling out to a limited number of users this week. These Android and iOS users will see a new Quick Action called “Raid Channel” in the Stream Manager on the mobile app. From here, users can search through live channels they follow, or search for any live channel using the search bar in the raid panel.

We'd love to hear your feedback on this experiment. Please upvote and comment your suggestions for us here!

  12. So for raids we can now set it so people have to have 'meet the following requirements' in order to raid, so minimum viewers;etc, and we also have threshold criteria to be meet also BUT - we should have also exceptions that bypass this criteria and/or requirements for example:
-people who have been subbed to you in the past 3 months or more; so, if someone in your community starts streaming and you don't know they can raid you
    - or like if you follow them they can always raid you
    - or they are in your stream team they…

  15. A simple pair of slash commands for the new "Stop Raids for 1 Hour" quick action on the stream manager would be incredibly useful.

Something like /raidstop and /raidallow would be quick and easy ways to use this feature directly from twitch chat.

  16. Now that Hosting is no more, when a streamer raids someone, you should show a notification on their offline channel who they raided, as long as that raid target is still streaming.

I thought that they would be displayed in the "offline carousel" but that doesn't seem to be happening, if that was the intent.

Regardless, there should be an explicit notification of where to go if you missed a raid.

  17. Raid accessible without a streamer. Viewers load into a chat session and get casted to a streamer. Raid only party that joins a streamer at random even with 0 followers.

  18. This was a feature Broken by removal of the Host command: If you missed the outgoing raid as a viewer you could see where the raid went and join in, and the Offline streamer would remain in host mode, so we can clearly find the name of the raided channel: Providing a persistent Redirect instead of a one-time redirect to the raided channel.

Please repair/restore the functionality of allowing the Offline streamer to provide a persistent redirect To a channel and make it so we can see when joining the chat which channel the streamer last raided from the Offline…

  19. Since the host feature was taking away we also lost the ability for people to know who you have raided because you are no longer hosting the channel.

So now since this feature was taken its seems that when you raid out people are stuck in the chat when everyone else was sent with the raid.

Can this be fixed people want to stay for the raid and go to the next streamer!!!

  20. Raids are not taking significant amounts of viewers.

Instead they will stay in chat and see the hosted streamer there or just an offline page.

This should be fixed. Raiding is one of the best and only ways to network on twitch and this is causing it to fail creators.
