Clips for unpublished streams Hello!
Us music streamers have the issue of not being able to publish our vods due to DMCA. That means it becomes really difficult to make clips for the new clipping feature on Twitch and uploading them elsewhere.
I have plenty of segments I'd love to clip, but as of now, I have to download the entire stream and edit them myself into segments and then reupload everything. This just doesn't feel very smooth and does not really work well with twitch atm.
I don't believe it would that difficult to make possible. Plez?

Heres one improvement and one good idea I do enjoy the fact you added it so we can edit our clips and save them but you took out the feature that let you save the original. And while using it on the phone it's impossible to move where the web camera is supposed to be .. and also why not make a section on twitch and call it clips showdown or something and makes it so people can scroll thru clips related to games they like and you can add your clips to the list by publishing it to them . Not just any clip you make

A button on the clip interface/page to delete it (or a redirect with filter to display it on dashboard's page of clips) Currently there is nothing to delete a clip from the clip page (twitch.tv/clip/###) for editors of the channel
So, actualy, if you want to delete it, you have to look at the sometimes approximate creation date and scroll in the dashboard's page of clips.
When you have to delete a clip several months old on a big channel, it's a waste of time, it would take days to scroll and the page crash (RAM full) long before reaching the dates...
And it cost you alot of ressources while we doomscroll and load thousand of clips to reach only one of…2 votes -
The vertical clip edit feature is neat twitch added, but they need to make it so we can move the channel name piece around to where we want. Composite clips from the same time together Streamers currently will at times have many viewers clip similar timeframes of a stream, i.e. viewer 1 clips 15:34-15:44, viewer 2 clips 15:37-16:04, viewer 3 clips 15:27-15:35, etc. These clips could be composited into one clip of 15:27-16:04.

My idea is you should create a easier way to delete clips and maybe be able to make clips longer then 30-60 it would be greatly appreciated My idea is to make it easier to delete clips with a tap of a button on the phone or website and make the clips longer then 30-60 seconds it would be greatly appreciated.

Bigger thumbnails for clips When I scroll through my library of clips, the thumbnail is too small to tell which clip it is and what is going on there. And it doesnt get bigger or smaller when I zoom my browser either.

Since clips always start muted, make them click-to-play instead of autoplay Current behaviour (in web browser):
You open a clip, and it start to autoplay, but the sound is muted. So you have to click unmute, and then rewind the clip, to hear the beginning. Annoying!
(I understand that muting autoplay videos is a choice made by web browsers.)
Better behaviour would be:
You open a clip, and it doesn't autoplay. You click play to start it, and then it doesn't need to be muted.
Alternative solution:
Place a "hint" by the unmute button, showing the user how to disable this behaviour in their browser. E.g. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay

Automated Clips-Story Implement a system that automatically uploads the Top Clips of the week (<7days) in a Twitch Story (similar to Instagram Story) - of course the Streamer has the ability to adjust the shown clips if necessary, but the initial upload is done by the system.
Short Pro's:
- This enables viewers who can't spend several hours on Twitch to stay up to date about what happened recently in his/her favourite Twitch streams (they can easily browse through Twitch Stories without spending too much time)
- Celebrate key moments with the community once again

Search clips option limit 1 per streamer Their should be a way you can search through clips without seeing the same user over and over... I don't wanna see the same popular streamers clips, I want to see new streamers clips so please add an option to sort by limited 1 clip per streamer.

Mute stream when clipping What happens now:
When you press the clip button on desktop it opens a new tab and the auto from the stream tab and from the clip tab are playing.What I wish would happen:

Autoplay clips should be tailored to preferences, not whats trending When I go to watch a clip of a streamer that I follow, the next clip that loads usually has nothing to do with the content I just watched. Next clips should be based on similar streamers, tags, or size of communities rather than "whats trending"

Allow users to see who clipped from stream in the clips manager. Why can we not see who made a clip right on the clips manager page? I don't want to have to click on each clip to find out which user made a clip.

Recommended Clips and Clip Voting With the recommended clip section being posted at the bottom of the home page and there being a clear lack of a promotional algorithm, there is a easy alternative that could be implemented. Using the clips section to promote streams and adding a voting system. Giving users the ability to Like and Dislike clips presented to them and advertising the stream at the end of the clip. Overlay extensions Is this just me or using an overlay extension makes it invisible on the clips? It seems very aweful the way it records clips afterwards as making overlays from scratch is effort and time consuming. Please fix.

Being able to upload chips. Like I like being able to clip but I want to download the video and edit it and then upload it back to twitch I want to be able to uploaded edited clips to the highlights and clip on twitch
