Create tiktok like clips viewing with new vertical editor and make discoverability better
As people can now edit their clips to fit in vertical shape these could either be uploaded to twitch and then being able to watch them via the app or website in a scrollable fashion akin to what tiktok is doing.
Hashtags are already a thing and can be used to search like categories.
This could make discoverability on twitch way better as viewing clips right now is just totally cumbersome.
Could even just apply coordinates from the cutouts streamers are doing and applied in realtime to the clips.
Just something to make clips way more impactful on twitch itself than on other platforms to share and increase your reach.
We recently announced the upcoming launch of the Twitch Discovery Feed: a scrollable feed in the Twitch app that shows users a personalized mix of Clips.
Before that launch happens, we’ll be running experiments with limited versions of the Discovery Feed to help test and improve our algorithms plus the overall experience. These early experiments do not reflect the final design or experience of the Discovery Feed.
We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions on how to improve this experience as we build towards the bigger launch. Feedback can be left via https://link.twitch.tv/UVDiscoveryFeed - thank you!

I think you should add a Twitch clips page on twitch just like Instagram has a search page on their website where you can show all of the trending clips it will also make it easier to add advertisements on them and you can also add an algorithm on it to

Basically add an option to get clips based on your game interests as a never-ending feed, similar to the TikTok For You page or Instagram Explore tab.

Allowing a better place for clips to be discovered would make 1. A better place for streamers to get discovered 2. Keep people interested in the streamers they love even when there not live

I think clips need to be utilized more for audience purposes. Not everyone is going to want to sit in on new streamers that they don't know. Better utilization of the clips in more of a scrolling fashion to fit modern media would allow people to view small bits created from streams to better find streamers they like.
this could be accomplished without any major changes by adding either another tap for clips or by categorizing them in genres for the different types of streams.

As we all know Tik Tok has found a great way to implement short easy videos into an algorithm that shows what you like to watch and what you would like to see. Also, we all know Clips pretty well, they are a great way to look back at a moment, and or upload those said clips to other social media, What if Twitch found a way to make a browsable clipping feature, where creators can upload their own clips to allow the streamer to get recognition from other people so they (the viewers) would come to your chat while you are streaming, so they could follow you there. Let me know what you all would think :D

Increase discoverability and browsability:
The discover page should feature a section with a continuous, hashtag filterable, clips section. In an internet browser ala Firefox there should be a possibility to hover to follow and/or like a clip without leaving the page and the possibility to click through to a user's page. The algorithm should focus on a mixture of fresh content, and popular content, and ideally "learn" from the users actions.
On the mobile app this should be the FIRST and only feature on the front page, with the hamburger menu or swipe action available for changing focus.
This would dramatically increase the time and focus a user spent on the platform, increase the discoverability and browsability of content creators. Ultimately this would be a great way to "hook" a user on to twitch content, rather than having then migrate to another platform (like f.ex. YouTube) if they don't immediately find a creator they follow or find interesting who is live, and importantly _retain_ users on the platform after a stream ends.
Hopefully, you all agree with my suggestion and are already hard at work implementing this, or a similar feature. :)

Allow us to browse "clips" and do it by category and rating and such. This would be a great way to find new creators
