The Rewind button could be very helpful, especially if implemented on mobile/ the app, where making a clip pulls you away from the stream and eats up a lot of time

I want it to be ON the player, not below it
Usually I want to be able to pause or scroll back the live feed or just go back 30 seconds and manually choose where I want to continue watching the live stream, it would be beneficial if we had the vod style player where we could control and interact with our live streams

If you missed a moment and want to rewind or you want to pause and resume playback at the same spot this is currently impossible unless you use a 3rd party video player like mpv.

There are plenty of moments when something intresting happens on a live stream that you just missed. To view it again, you have to open the recent videos of that streamer, watch the latest video and hope you find that moment again.

On YouTube you can just go back up to 2 hours. If you missed something intresting, you just press the left arrow once or twice and watch it again, then you can go back to live.

Hope something similar can be implemented to Twitch.

fix the input lag

what: let us rewind about 5,10,15 Seconds

when: when i see a live stream

why: let rewatch an section

then: speedup a little the video to go back to sync with the live stream

what: let increase the video speed

when: when its behind the live stream after network problems or when i hit pause

why: to get in sync to current time of the live stream

There is only 1 thing that youtube live has that is good: rewind the stream 5 secs or so. I think this would improve the viewer experience.

the ability to rewind streams if you show up late should be implemented i understand that that takes extra infrastructure but i feel you are a big enough platform to do it
