I am trying to connect my Twitch to YouTube

I had my old YouTube account deleted and added one with the right gmail address and still won’t let me connect from twitch to YouTube

They still haven’t fixed it. The only one that works is Amazon and I already connected that.

I hope twitch fixes this problem, I just went through transferring my yahoo into a gmail and that didn’t make a difference or fix the problem.

Trying to sign in but doesn’t work

I connected to a VPN and I was able to connect. No idea why it worked.

So I'm trying to link my twitch account to my YouTube account, every time I go to the connections tab I only get the option to link an Amazon account. Can anybody please help me with this issue?

I was having this issue (getting the message "Failed to connect. Please make sure you have a YouTube channel associated with your Google account and try again."over and over).

I saw on another help site that someone said they had the issue and it was because their web browser didn't allow pop-ups, and to click the thing by the refresh button to allow it. I tried this and IT WORKED!! :D

I'm on Mac/Safari, the other person was on Firefox, so maybe this might be the problem for others too.

Come on Twitch support! This is absolutely disappointing! Almost 2 years this issue has been running rampant and yet you refuse to even respond. Why? Do you simply wish to continue falsely advertising a broken or possibly fake service? Bottom line is either actually fix this menagerie of incompetence and miscommunication or don’t display it as an option in the first place.

The dashboard isn't letting me change my YouTube export and its getting on my nerves

Hey!! Ive had this same issue. The fix is simple! Go into your youtube account, and should have the option 'create channel' after clicking your pfp. Create the channel there, (just name and picture) then you can link it!! The issues is: You were signed in on youtube, but no channel. ITs a bit awkward!

Hello im having the same problem with twitter and YouTube is saying that same error as all of you please twitch fix it.

I just created a twitch account and am trying to link my youtube account. I am having the same issue as to it saying "Failed to connect. Please make sure you have a YouTube channel associated with your Google account and try again."

I have checked my youtube account and it is connected to my gmail. I only have 1 email so I am unsure as to why I am having this issue when according to another user in this threat it has been fixed. Could the problem be because I just created a twitch account? If its a time thing how long do I have to wait to try again? I have tried to send an email for support but everytime I click certain catageories it takes me to another sub website within twitch. Could someone atleast let me know how to submit a claim in the proper fashion to not get the transfer to a sub website?
