Markers for Category/Game changes in VODs
Have markers on the progress bar for VODs showing when in the stream the Category and/or game was switched.

If anyone does choose to implement this idea, I would suggest looking at the SponsorBlock browser extension as an example of how to easily segment a video by color and category. This would honestly make watching VODs much more convenient, as I typically only like to watch certain sections of someone's stream. With the current system, if I wanted to only watch the Just Chatting portion of someone's 24hr long stream, I would have to carefully scrub through the entire VOD to do so.

As a Streamer I would like to have the VOD saved splitted when I change the category.
I understand some people might not want this option as Default, so it can be configured via a checkbox on the VOD section.
USE CASE
Streamers usually change categories 2 or more times during a Stream, is very common that you start with Just Chatting or a Game and then change to the other one.
The workflow for most of the streamers is to download or edit the content so usually markers come handy on that, but instead of having to open and edit the entire VOD just have it splitted that way you would end up with something like this:
Streamer starts with Just Chatting - Title: Chilling and chatting, then change to Fornite - Title: Ranking on Fornite.
at the end of the stream if you marked the checkbox 'Split VOD by category' you would find the past stream splitted
1. Just Chatting - Title: Chilling and chatting
2. Fornite - Title: Ranking on Fornite. This would make the post editing process much easier for a lot of people and also it should benefit the Twitch Servers Workload, since you won't be editing or download the entire VOD.
Thanks

Have a setting that can be enabled for when streaming multiple games. It would be nice that when you change the game that you are playing in Twitch, it would automatically create a new VOD with the new game/category and title. Its better for organizing and we wont have to stop/start the stream. This way we don't have to interrupt our audience.

Upvoting this so that vods should be split to their categories videos page automatically. I don't have any opinion on the youtube suggestion.
At the moment if a streamer plays game (category) A then B then C, the video only appears in the game A past broadcast page. -

In my twitch livestreams I often play multiple games.
Afterwards I exported the whole VOD to Youtube and split the content in multiple videos by using the Youtube Video Editor; with that I was able to sort the content according to the game in playlists and categories, because on Youtube one video can only be categorized in one category/game.Youtube now removed the feature to "split videos to new videos" 😐
"No one used that and you can still easily download, split and reupload the Videos", Youtube says. 🙄
That is BS, because Download is limited to 720p and Youtube recodes the video on upload and therefore much of the video quality is lost.SO,
as my suggestion ... suggests it would be nice to automatically split VODs according there category. Or at least manually.
Or it would be nice if the Export-Function would contain such an option. To export separate videos according there category. Thanks for considering

I believe this has been resolved with the chapter function

During long streams I can go through two or more games depending on the length stream, stream activity, length of game, or etc.
Problem is that sometimes it would be nice to split the stream for each game instead of having one huge stream that way it is also easier to manage VODs so they are separated based on your split you created for the game. If there was an option to split the stream mid Stream, that would be nice.

Seriously, this is the best idea ever! And it's free. I won't charge.
Right now, twitch VODs are one long video of your entire session. When you go to people's previous streams section, you're only shown the name of the game the person *started* their stream on.
If I ran twitch, VODs would automatically split when a person changes their current game. Now, with this feature, when I go to look at people's VODs, I can see them all appropriately labeled with the game that shows up in the VOD itself.
It's genius.

I had this idea when submitting: "https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/297558-general/suggestions/32739631-add-new-game-category-for-possible-games-during-t"
I can sometimes tend to switch from one game to another so I stop the stream change the info and restart it.
It would be nice if I could keep the stream running in OBS, change the stream info in twitch add a new game, after i hit the 'Update Information' button Twitch creates a new live stream video with the new information, all while obs is uninterrupted.

Streamers only get one spot to add one game that we are going to play this stream but sometimes;
I like to flip from one game to another, usually i just stop the stream, change the stream information for the new game, and restart the stream.
Bit of a lengthy process but it would be nice if I could just add a 'list of possible games i may play during this stream'.
