Can you please stop people from broadcasting pre recorded content as 'LIVE' if it's not a live person online, then list it as a rerun.
Can we please list pre-recorded content as re runs, or create a new catagory as it's wrong to list is as Live, it's doing a diservice to the streamers who make the effort to sit in front of their PC's broadcasting live content and it's killing their channels, especially the ASMR catagory.

typical loser twitch mob. A streamer could basically not look at chat at all and never interact and get a similar result. If you dont like it watch something else. Twitch makes it easy enough to find a streamer you like. Pre recorded content is just that. Content that has no interaction. If you dont like the interaction with a streamer, watch someone else.

Boo you ruined the ASMR category, especially for us NDD folk.
Thankfully most of the great ASMR specialists are doing what they need to every week and when Twitch fails them there's always the backups.

I totally agree with this idea. They should seperate the channels who are really live and the other marked as pre recorded content. Running pre-recorded content 24/7 as live shouldnt be allowed and it is unfair towards to the smaller streaming channels.

This surely is a no-brainer.

Twitch is a great platform for live content and one of the best parts of live content is the ability to interact with a streamer.
Please make a rule that a stream marked as live actually has to be live.

Yes, we should not have pre-recorded as LIVE. Please, help those streamers having an extra effort to keep this platform as great as it is! Thanks!

Oath. Live is to be the present, current raw footage of something e.g a person broadcasting Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War LIVE where his current content being shared on Twitch is real time gameplay. I see pre-recorded content quite frequently and it bothers me to see it categorized as Live and listing it as a rerun. No longer shall this be such a dilemma!

i can't vote for some reason... i can't believe it's even an issue that even exist on twitch... a platform that's for content creators to interact with their viewers at "real time", it's hard to imagine why, other than money, would twitch do this, most viewers of this fake channels have are bots, and some few innocent that don't know. it's highly unfair for all the content creators that have their hard work and intellectual property stolen and reuploaded to twitch. and even if that's not the case it still goes against what twitch is about. and twitch not caring about this shows how detached they are growing from their own values and the community build since justin.tv

Apparently can't cast my vote - but I'll share my support trough the comment.
Been reporting these arses who steal content and use pre-recorded content for months, without any succes. Twitch unfortunately doesn't give a freak about their creators, as long as they can take money from subs and ads. It's disgusting! -

I would also like to point out, that most of these are not even the streamers, it's stolen content from YT. I have reported so many of these channels.

oi twitch you wanna do something about this... u are a live streaming platform after all, not a prerecorded platform

I am not happy for lazy people to prerecord streams and steal other peoples content. Also too much ear licking is revolting.

Please keep pre recorded ASMR videos off Twitch. Too many fake live streams ruining it for the rest and a lot of stolen content from youtube trying to profit off other peoples hard work

This is killing the ASMR category, as well as others across Twitch. It truly discredits and disrespects the artists that are actually live. Twitch is a LIVE STREAM platform. This is not YouTube, where pre-recorded videos go. Put an end to this!

100% support this request. The number of fake live channels makes it difficult to find true live streamers, which I prefer to watch.
