Popout twitch chat on VODs

Whenever someone wants to watch VODs they can't enjoy the duel screen experience properly of popout twitch chat. Theather mode forces you to have the chat next to the video AND on the same monitor. Please let us pop out the chat on VODs.

Please give us VODboys some love.

    Same here. I have a vertical screen and I simply cannot fit the chat. How can this still NOT be there?

    Literally what I've been looking for 2 years ago then trying again now and found this post. I know there is a popup chat for live channels but not vods I have no clue why this still has not been a thing for both twitch and 3rd party apps.

    I even tried to find something like what streamelements does and capture a part of a window and overlay it over a game I'm playing but can't find anything like that if I'm not a streamer.

    THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDED!!!!

    Popout chat during livestreams is amazing for someone like me with two monitors, I wish I could do the same with VODs. The feature to popout the VOD player already exists, however the ability to popout chat is not there. If you could link the time between the VOD and the chat in the VOD so they sync up It would be such a big quality of life improvement to the rewatchability of live streams. Yes theatre mode exists, however the screen size is sacrificed and there is no way to have the VOD's chat overlayed either. Please add a popout chat for VOD's.

    This would be an amazing solution for viewing the VODs of broadcasters that have an emphasis on their audio, while still being able to view the chat while navigating other windows.

    This used to be a thing and I can't for the life of me understand why they decided to remove it.
