Feature: Watch Later
The way it would work:
There would be a button with the Clip/Options/Theater Etc. settings that would look like this http://i.imgur.com/zA5KDxa.png (quick 5am mockup). When you click the button, it will timestamp the VOD and take you to that moment when the VOD has been uploaded.
Maybe there's a separate page on your profile where you can manage your "Watch Later" links; with a VOD link OR maybe you get a twitch message from a bot with a link to it?
I'm not 100% sure if this has been submitted before or if there's a way to do this as of right now.
Thoughts?

I definitely wish they had this for CLIPS. VODs, I suppose - but the real utility would be with clips. Especially if you wanted to remember to show something to your community on stream or to someone later on. Good suggestions.

The fact that 8 years later it's still not a thing is mind boggling

Close to the one I had as well -

This would be great, and I hope they implement it soon. I'm not able to make all broadcasts, but it would be great to be able to group all the VODs I want to watch in a folder. Another element that could be added is when you see a streamer go live, and you want to watch the stream, but can't at the current time, have an option to automatically add the VOD to your playlist when the stream ends. This would be helpful, because I often forget about livestreams I saw the notif for and wanted to watch, but forget to search up later.

Hello, it would be cool, that you could "save" some videos in a "folder" to watch later.
Let me explain it.
In my experience, before going to bed i search for a VoD, video, clips, etc, to watch on the phone on bed. The problem i find, is that i have to manually type the video on my phone to get the exact video.
My idea, was that you could create a Watch later playlist, with auto queue, similar to the youtube one, i think a lot of people like in my situation would appreciate that.
As i said on my other post, i hope u understand everything since english is not my first language. Any feedback in the comment section, would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Often, I need to watch past broadcast but it's long to select the channel then search video that I want to watch.
So I suggest an UX idea about Playlist and save past broadcast or actual live to watch later on my twitch account (smartphone and pc browser).Thank you twitch, your my TV <3

We should have the choice to save streamers vods before they get deleted and we can rewatch them. There should be option for this

Are there any updates on this? This feature seems as if it heavily needed, especially to those whose devices reload pages or cannot remember what video they had previously been watching.
A "watch later" queue would be incredibly beneficial. -

"Watch Next" would be more aligned to how I use it.

I love the idea of a queue. ive been trying to watch older videos from my favorite streamer but after one video is over it seems to auto play only their recent broadcasts. they have 800+ videos. so after each video i have to go back to their massive archive and do a whole lot of scrolling to find an older one. even just making autoplay play the next video would be great. if im watching episode 665 i dont want to watch 834 next, i want to watch 666, and then 667... being able to do that through a queue would make me wanna spend a lot more time here ;)

I like to watch multiple gaming youtubers and sometimes I don't watch all theirI vids and sometimes I want to watch a vid from like a week ago. It'd be cool if I could just add them all to a watch later playlist so i can just watch them all in one go when I'm doing my homework or something just like on youtube. I can just open the watch later and remove the ones I've watched so everytime a stream ends I don't have to go looking for a new one cuz that always just distracts me and I end up being too lazy to go find another one. There's a new minecraft smp called x life and I would love to be able to just gather everyone's livestreams from weeks ago till and hour ago so I can see everyone's progress.. just looking through after a stream ends makes it harder especially if I'm already comfortable. And I don't want to accidentally watch a new one and then find out I've missed a livestream.

This seems like a basic feature to have: 3 years and still nothing?

I've been attempting to spend less of my time on youtube, for the usual sorts of corporate angst reasons. Their algorithm for what they think I might want to watch next seems equally bad as anyone else's, but the ability to queue up 3 hours of videos so that I don't have to physically mess with the page while I work on other things is just too good compared to letting these sites select content for me. I'm at a point where I universally reject the next video on any kind of autoplay just from the habit of all the collection playlists running in reverse order.
I want to like Twitch, but the lack of features like this is making it really hard.

Good god, more than two years and no watch later still. Thankfully, many Twitchers upload their videos to Youtube. But not all...

I think a way to save a link to a VoD somewhere to watch later would be a good idea.
I sometimes fall behind on streams and think it'd be a useful feature to have some kind of button either on the thumbnail or in the player controls to save a link to that VoD, that way you can simply mark all the VoDs you want to watch and have them saved in a list. This would save having to scroll through a streamers videos to find the correct VoD every time. -

+1. I do this all the time with YouTube. I sometimes spend 20 minutes n the bus hunting for videos I might watch later and queue them up.

I would absolutely love a watch later playlist - I can't always watch live or fall asleep and being able to have a queue to come back to would be awesome.
