  1. Ads playing immediately upon trying a new channel is a bit frustrating. I usually just turn off Twitch and go to YouTube or somewhere else because of how Twitch does ads immediately upon attempting to watch a channel. Just letting you know that it's pretty invasive and I, personally, actively never purchase anything from an advertisement that annoys me... and your ads annoy me constantly because of their placement.

  2. The fact that I have to sit through a 30-second to a 2-minute ad break before even seeing what the streamer is doing destroys browsability for your website generally at best, and will systematically hurt and snuff out small streams at worst. An ad-free 30-second buffer when entering a stream would allow the user to find what content they would enjoy before having their experience invaded. This idea also benefits the website's bottom line by helping retention of unsubbed viewers by offering them content rather than spam upon arrival to the site which improves retention and optics.

    In short, ads…

  3. The first time I reported this ad (months ago when first seen) it was removed for me and it's returned, however won't go away with the report function. The constant advertisements with "suicide" are extremely off-putting and destroying my positive user experience.

  4. If I'm distraught enough by an ad to make the effort to mark it as offensive, I never want to see nor hear it ever again ONCE, instead of being repeatedly submitted to it for days on end. Simple as that.

  5. I keep seeing the same ad for 0% alcohol beer but it actually makes me want to drink more alcohol. Have you thought about how awful it is to constantly show that ad to recovering alcoholics? It doesn't make me want to drink 0% beer, only to go back to drinking alcoholic drinks. It's getting extremely annoying to keep having this same ad over and over, for every single stream I enter, despite being subscribed.

  8. Remove Multiple Ads Being Played back to back when Raiding Others
This is having a Negitive Effect the Streamer being Handed over too had 40 Raiders from another stream come across and out of the 40 Raiders only 1 person stayed, the rest quit because of the 7 back to back ads 3mins long in total

  9. Ads loop, often 5+ times (especially on /cristianes2), appear almost immediately after starting the stream. Also if the stream is manually paused at some point (even if not during an ad), unpausing too often results in an ad within a minute or two.
There are other streams on which I get no ads.
(Also the same ad should never been played twice in succession, surely, as it just encourages people to be angry at the advertiser)

  10. Normally, I don't mind ads. I know ads are the way Twitch makes money, as well as Twitch's content producers. But, the ads for Chrome are so annoying that every time one comes on, I immediately close it, and, there are WAY TOO MANY of them that play. (Most of the time, two Chrome ads play in a row!)

The stupid ones where a person is pressing thumbs in your face (making it look like the person is on their cell, the one with the stupid fake dog, and that annoying one where everyone says, "uhhh....." I hate them all!

  11. As a 10+ year twitch user, it's sad to see what has happened to twitch in regards of AD spam. I sometimes think is it bugs out with the amount of ads I see.

Is it really necessary to spam the same ad every time I try to stream hop? That's how I have always used twitch. I don't stay on a single stream for long every time I use the website.

The worst of it all is when I'm trying to see other perspectives of gaming tournaments. Shouldnt there be a timer to not seeing the same ad? I…

  13. I live in Toronto, Ontario. I am 25 years old and have/had suffered from bulimia in my lifetime. I do not feel like is a unique issue, especially considering the demographic on this website. I do not know why or how, the GO Train ad go approved for this website. I would really appreciate not seeing that while I am trying to feel comfortable and safe.
The ad is just very insensitive for people with eating disorders. It is also a known fact that hearing or seeing other people vomit, induces vomiting. Why would that ad be made then, what…

  14. So Twitch banned gambling (which I do think is a reasonable thing to ban), yet they continuously show gambling ads which include slots (one of the main gambling activities they banned). If slots and gambling are so bad for Twitch, why do they continue to accept money from these corporations and display their ads on their website? What double-standard garbage is this? I know Twitch doesn't have the spine to decline the money they get from gambling companies, so this will never change. I'd love to hear the explanation from Twitch as to why streamers showing gambling is bad, but…

  15. I'm not sure this is the right place but I need to put this out there. There is a specific, local, ad that plays during every ad break. This ad includes multiple people pretending to vomit. It's so disgusting that I have to mute whatever I'm watching as the sound is actually stomach turning and it continues throughout the whole ad. I get the point, but it's gut wrenching. Any option that will allow me to NOT see this ad again (I've already subbed all I can lol) would be great but I can't seem to find anything like 'don't…

  16. Audio ads less disruptive. I am never going to reply to an ad, I am FORCED to listen to dozens of times. I already buy cheetos, I shouldn't have to listen to that music countless times an hour. It makes me mute ALL ADS. Find another revenue stream. It is ******* people off.

  17. Remove Neekolul from Amazon Music Advertisements and Twitch in general. I just received an ad on a Twitch channel for Amazon Music that had Neekolul promoting it. Why is she being given business opportunities by Twitch/Amazon? She was charged with Domestic Assault in 2018 (https://www.sportskeeda.com/esports/abuser-playing-victim-neekolul-s-domestic-abuse-story-backfires). I don't even know why she is allowed to continue streaming. It seems like there are double standards.

I'd like a reply to this. PLEASE VOTE THIS TO GET THEIR AWARENESS

  18. Ads are constantly playing every time I change publishers. It's getting annoying to watch the same ads over and over. Most of the time, when I'm bored, I go to twitch and when I click on the first broadcast, I immediately close twitch. I've been encountering advertisements a lot lately, now I use twitch less.

  19. As we know, ads are common on any platform and I understand they're a primary source of income. Generated for both parties (twitch, and content creators) and is evenly split between both parties. However, sometimes these ads are intrusive and lead to a reduction in viewer retention.

While the viewers suffer from advertisements but also streamers, streamers stream for 4 hours a day, sometimes every day, and some stream more. That's a part-time job, and some aren't gaining anything out of it. I, myself am a streamer and try to stream 5 days a week, but I find it very…

  20. A lot of gambling streamers are abusing the rules by spamming for example WWWWWWW before #ad to not show the necessary #ad on their stream title.
If Twitch is not going to do anything about gambling streams you should at least make sure viewers know that the streamer is payed by the company to get them addicted.
