Option to TURN OFF ADs Why are we FORCED to play ads??? Small streamer like myself only get stunted by them and forcing people to sub to not see them is just BULLKAKA. Why noy give the affiliates and Partners the right to turn them off? After all the only one losing on not showing ads ate the stream. But when you think about it the viewer will win by not being forced to watch! Not to mention that Advertisers will get better placement of there ads and twitch might make a few coins more! No stream is worth sitting minutes worth of ads This isn't really an idea, more so my personal opinion on how the site is working, maybe it will be taken into consideration when making future decisions. There isn't a single stream on this, or any site, and there never will be, that I consider worth sitting through minutes worth of ads. If I'm watching a stream and I see more than two 15-second ads, I immediately leave. Every time. Refocus Twitch RPG to what it should be: supporting creators and viewers. When i first started using Twitch RPG, (for those who dont know, Twitch RPG stands for "Research Power Group"; it offers survey's regarding twitch and sometimes gives bits for taking them) it was focused around the viewer experience and features for creators/viewers. Simply put: the survey's were about what would make twitch better.

Never have any ad break longer than 30 seconds! I will NOT sit through 3 minutes of ads. I won't sit through a minute of ads. You know what I do when I hit an ad wall longer than 30 seconds on Twitch? I close the tab and go watch something on youtube instead (seriously). It doesn't help that most of the ads are for food I'll never eat or an immoral army I'll never consider joining. The ad experience on Twitch is an embarrassment. Get more ads I am a streamer, I would like it if the streamers had more total ads. Not during stream but that they could pull from. I have "ran out" of ads. During my streams I keep getting "Commercial break in progress". I am not getting any ad revenue.

Ads Break and Freeze/Ads Are Too Repetitive Two problems here;
The first, main issue I’ve been having is that very often, ads will break. The sound will cut out half way through the ad, and then at the end of the ad the player will just freeze and not load the stream. Sometimes it eventually resolves itself, sometimes I have to close and reload the stream (possibly giving another ad). I’m on iOS for info.
Second, not so much a bug per se, but my god can you please vary the ad campaigns so that it doesn’t play the same ad every stream load/ad break? I’m sick…

Stop promoting the "Gayming Awards" I recently got an ad for the cringiest this I've seen in years. The "gayming awards" I would appreciate it if twitch stopped trying to force this propaganda down my throat and went back to being politically neutral.

Reset player Can Twitch stop playing ads on using the Reset Player button? The importance of real time interactions between the streamer and their audience is such a crucial and defining factor of Twitch live streams. The Reset Player function is there to ensure that important interaction. Playing ads when using the Reset Player function is essentially negating/nulling the very purpose of the button.

Esses anuncios obrigatorios irrelevantes são muito chatos, estou pensando seriamente em abandonar a plataforma TWITCH TV Esses anúncios obrigatórios que aparecem no meio dos videos dos Streamers é muito chato, não tem opção de deixar de ver. Isso é muito irritante, estou pensando seriamente em abandonar a TWITCH TV e ir para a Booyah, pois la não tem esse tipo de problema. Que coisa chata, irritante, não tem como sair desses anuncios irrelevantes.

Ad-free time for watching adds The idea is that a user could sit and watch adds in return for an amount of ad- free watch time. E.g. I watch the Ads channel for 10 mins and get 2 hours ad-free watch time on other streams
At the moment streamers have no control over number and duration of ads so we have as situation occurring many times where a crucial part of the narrative is in effect deleted by an ad.
On TV we have the situation where "...and the murderer is ... <advert break> .. "The butler!!"

let mods see when ads are run Allow mods/editors to see when another editor runs an ad. Currently it just says failed to start commercial and you can only see how much time you have left until you can run another ad in the creator dashboard but you have to try and run an ad.

Dynamic time ads blocks I'm not a content creator myself, but I thought of an idea that may help with ads experience after watching the Twitch Townhall.
From time to time, content creators needs to step away from their chairs and sometimes they do not know how long they need to step away for. Instead of having a fixed bank amount of ad blocks, allow content creators have a dynamic way to play ads. It would work like this:
- Creator needs to step away from the computer
- Creator clicks on (Start adblock) button
- Creator can take 30 seconds to get food or 3 minutes…

There is an Audio Bug I wanted to give some feedback on the new ad experience. There is an audio bug that resets the volume to maximum after setting it to a predefined setting. So I turn it down during one ad then the next ad sets volume to max and screams at me. Using Microsoft Edge (Chromium), Windows 10 Pro.

maybe DON'T put a commercial in live stream play ? Congrats, you have succeeded in being shittier then Youtube, They at least pause videos when they cram advertisers down your throat. It kinda ruins the point in watching live streams (as apposed to pre recorded video) when you miss chunks of the live stream to feed corporate greed. thanks!
