2. notification time

   Notifications are consistently failing its purpose, they notify users that we are live after 4-6 hours, this is terribly detrimental and force creators to use third parties to allow their communities to know they are live, also impacting their success and by extension, Twitch's success.

3. Scheduled notifications

   Notifications are great, but not when you're at work. It would be great to have the option to set time frames to either receive notifications or to not receive notifications.

5. Let us turn off the new shouts feature.

   Let us turn off the new Shouts feature, we already have notifications and stories and loads of other bloat. It's so pointless. Twitch feels like a gacha game with all the "CLICK ME!!!" bs on the UI now.

6. Username Rename Tool Bug

   Multiple people have reported that the username rename tool has been bugged for them, including me. EVERYTHING we type in is being marked as unavailable no matter what browser or device we use. When cross checked with other accounts or sign up, the username availability seems to be working fine. This makes it impossible to change our username on our accounts. Support has been incompetent and unhelpful for us. This is a bug on Twitch's end. There have been many other bugs reported recently as well. Broken password resets, missing chat logs, ghost notifications, VODs disappearing, and emotes breaking are a few among many others. Please look into this.

7. Human support

   I am sorry to report that Twitch Support is quite non-existent. The 'live chat' feature via the help page is fully AI, the 'bot' transfers you to an 'agent', it's AI

   I put in a ticket nearly 2 days ago via Twitch Partner help tickets, no reply. This is not good enough!

   I stream for a living, I had a multi-accounting troll with new accounts have the ability to spam report me and get me banned by AI. My appeal was successful but then still resulted in me not having access to Twitch chat/streaming for 48hrs, this is NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

8. I have a payment method on file I shouldnt have to verify my age any other way

   Why does twitch need my biometrics to prove my age when I have a VALID PAYMENT METHOD ON FILE. You can't HAVE a paypal unless you are a minimum age of 18 years old, and you acknowledge in my own settings that my account is connected to paypal. I have gotten SEVERAL payouts to that same payment method. I am not going to give you my biometrics. Change this, its nonsensical, thanks.

9. Raid a random streamer in the same category and prefer channels with less than 50 viewers

   If a streamer goes offline without manually initiating a raid, an automatic raid should follow in the same category, prioritizing channels with less than 50 viewers. This approach benefits both Twitch and creators.

10. Add additional ways to sort for you / followed channels list.

    Add additional ways to sort, current live channels that I follow list. Currently I believe we have only two ways to sort: Recommended, and highest viewers to lowest. I would like to propose that we have a few more options or a way to place into category folders or at very least, sort by lowest viewers to highest. This would help pave the way to give back to the Twitch community and provide less discouragement to those just starting out with content creation. I know from personal experience it was tough just trying to get noticed. Now that I made affiliate, I enjoy bringing a smile to someone's face when they go from having maybe just 1 viewer to a raid of say 20 or so.

    Then again on the other side of the house having folders that we can set or even just like a super favorites, followers folders, would be amazing. Yes, we can just click a category but there are so many at times searching those can be too long of a process and may as well just do a search, if you can remember their name, plus some people after a while might do a re-brand then you would not know their twitch name. So by having folders I could create folders like: Live bass, Vocals, rocksmith users. I also belong to a lot of streamer support communities so I could have folders setup display each of those and drop the members of each in those folders. Making it easier when I am returning support to those communities.

    To me, adding this feature would make the user twitch experience seem more personal and tailored to our needs. Thank you

11. Disable drops as a viewer

    I would like to be able to, as a viewer disable/turn off getting drops in my account options.

    I do not need or want them and having to see the notification and click a few times just so I can get rid of them is frustrating.

12. Remove inappropriate letter combinations in activation codes

    When activating my Twitch account on my Xbox One, I received a code to enter in at twitch.tv/activate that began with "***". Inappropriate combinations of letters should not be included in activation codes.

13. Non-Reachable Emails

    Allot of different websites offer this feature, but, how about making it so that if you somehow in someway can't login to your account after reporting missing credentials, it will offer you the chance to send the email about (e.g resetting your password) to an email that you can access.

    The native Twitch Alert system for creators on their Creator Dashboard is very cool! The only thing it's missing...

15. Allow all opt-out of AI usage/training (like all of it)

    As everyone knows, Twitch is rolling out with AI features and is trying to train itself using content that their own creators to enhance it. There is already an opt-out option for some of it under "Security and Privacy Settings" in the creator dashboard. It's automatically on by default, and many Twitch creators has already disabled it. However, looking further into the Twitch Privacy Notice and the FAQs, this opt-out does NOT mean that creators are already out of this abrasive policy.

    According to the FAQ (https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/twitch-account-settings#FAQ); the opt-out does not cover everything AI. It does allow for things like AutoMod and captions, which does make sense but that NEEDS to be a separate option for creators because not everyone is comfortable with having AI being trained with their stuff.

    Also, the Twitch Privacy Notice has been updated to include that Twitch used your personal information to "[use] data to develop or deploy our generative AI models and services." That links to an Amazon Generative AI Development Disclosure, which does not allow Twitch users (or Amazon customers) to opt out of this "service". All users of Amazon, but especially Twitch should be able to opt-out of having their own personal data being used to train GenAI.

    We need to be able to:
    1) Opt out of AI usage in general; even at the expense of not being able to use AutoMod or Captions.
    2) Opt out, or at least limit the training of GenAI while using Amazon/Twitch products and services.
    3) Options to use/allow AI training to be TURNED OFF by default for all Twitch users.

    Twitch also needs to explain in full on all platforms and via official email whenever they are rolling out AI features, how to opt-out (if they do not turn it off by default), and why they're doing it. The "hide it under the rug and pray no one notices" strategy that they used with this AI rollout has made a lot of creators distrust the platform, thinking about leaving the platform, and leaves creators with more questions than they left with... Transparency is key to a safe and healthy platform for ALL users, after all.

    TLDR, my ideas:
    - Allow for all opt-out of AI usage and using Twitch content for AI training purposes.
    - Twitch to give greater transparency when implementing these policies/tools.
    - Amazon to allow for opt-out for their GenAI training on all Amazon products.

16. Concern regarding automatic opt-in for AI training and GDPR compliance for EU citizens

    Twitch.tv, recently implemented an automatic 'opt-in' feature where all user-generated content on the platform is used to train Amazon's AI models. This includes live streams, clips, chat messages, and voice data.

    Users are required to manually 'opt-out' of this feature; otherwise, it remains enabled by default. I strongly believe this practice violates the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its core principles. Under GDPR, processing personal data, which includes biometric data like voices and faces, as well as identifiable chat logs, requires explicit, informed, and unambiguous consent. An automatic opt-in default fails to meet the legal standard for consent. This also violates several national data protection laws across Europe.

    I urge you to review this policy to ensure full compliance with European data protection laws and to please notify me when this is in progress and has been completed. I will also be filing a complaint to NOYB as well as the Swedish Integrity Authority for review.

19. Please don't arbitrarily demand phone numbers from people with verified emails

    Why, after ten years of chatting on Twitch with a verified email address, is Twitch blocking me from every single Twitch chat unless I give my phone number? I've been on great behavior for my entire time on Twitch, so why did Twitch impose this on my account a few months ago? Twitch has not given any reason, and I don't want to provide both my email address and phone number to Twitch.

    I've contacted the owners of certain channels who I know on other websites and they've confirmed that they didn't turn on the phone verification setting, so this is something Twitch is doing. I've investigated the matter on search engines as well, and I've found that several other Twitch users are facing the same puzzling restriction.

    Please explain why my rules-abiding account was suddenly hit with this phone restriction after ten years. I've done nothing to make Twitch unsafe or unfun, and I've even been apologized TO by users in chat rooms. Please lift this restriction so I and other well-behaved people can chat with only a verified email address. This phone requirement was not placed due to a behavior strike, nor is a phone number required for every Twitch user to chat on the website.

    Also, if this is a glitch instead of a design choice, it's a very bad glitch for your site to have! Additionally, if an unrelated detail will get a human to read this post, a few months prior to the phone number requirement restriction/glitch I tried to gift a channel five subscriptions, but Twitch wouldn't accept the payment and gave no explanation as to why. The credit card was just fine and still is, and no one was blocked from giving or receiving a subscription.

20. Better Support for Account Issues

    This idea is borne of having a poor experience with Twitch support in its current form. I've streamed dozens of hours and suddenly two streams were flagged for copyright issues. The flagged OSTs were from Elden Ring, the game I was playing. It was the music in the game that got flagged. Clearly a mistake, but the only responses I would get on my support ticket were the generic responses about not having copyrighted materials on your stream. We need better trained individuals supporting streamers who take the time to read what is submitted and troubleshoot their issues, not just use generic copy/paste responses that don't address the problem presented.
