1. Fix the Time it takes and process to reactivate account

   You need to implement a faster way to reactivate accounts, currently it takes up to 2 weeks, which i find absolutly rediculoius, twitter and fb are instant, your process looser streamers money and views and subs having to wait for so long, what happens if somone did it by accident, fix this major floor

2. Add a place to see ignored users

   This idea is already available via third-party websites but it'd be nice to have it implemented on the website because often times I will accidentally click ignore on someones name and not realize it.

3. Option to forward your old username to new

   If you change your username on Twitch, it breaks all the old links instantly, and nobody can find you if they don't know your new name.

   I 100% understand that for some people, this is a boon! But, if you are a streamer, this can be disastrous, especially if you didn't expect it to happen, and even if the change is as simple as adding an underscore for clarity.

   In my observation (whatever that's worth), more people don't want to break their links and hide from their friends than do.

   Why not have a check box when you change your name which says "Forward visits and whispers for 90 days", just like when you change your landline you could opt in or out of having an automated "This number has been changed" announcement for a limited time.

   Since the old usernames aren't reused for a while (or, sometimes, ever), there's no reason not to offer this, and it would improve stream community connection, viewership numbers, and revenue for that matter!

4. Remove follower cap, please!

   I have officially hit the 2000 following limit (that is,me following others) about 5 times now. This has happened as I have gone to two Twitchcons and expanded my network, trying to follow all the other cool creators I've met. Not sure why this cap is in place, but it's incredibly tedious to have to go back, weed through my follower list (which has grown over the last 5 years) and manually remove people in order to follow someone new.

   Perhaps we can at least expand the follower capability for partners, who will undoubtedly be making more connections since Twitch is part of their livelihood?

5. Give users priority on claiming their previous username

   Users should be given priority to revert back to their old username once it becomes available rather than having to hope they can get it back. Also, users should NOT have to wait 6 months to try to get their name back. They should be allowed to revert back to their old name after the regular 60 day wait for a name change.

   Also, Twitch NEEDS to update the warning when you go to change your username! Saying your username "will be released back into the pool of available usernames after 6 months" is not descriptive enough. I thought that meant that if I didn't reclaim my name before 6 months then others could try to claim it. Had I know that meant I had to wait 6 months to try to claim it myself I would have never changed my username.

6. Authy app,

   It is so hard to sign in when I do not have a cell phone number for this authy app anymore. Please change this for ppl. This is make it so difficult to stream now. Please go back to the old twitch where I can sign in with just my email please!

7. Please provide alternatives to Phone Verification (new)

   I know this has been discussed before, but things have changed. (see below)

   Please provide alternative methods to Phone Verification. There are many circumstances where a user may not be able to use a mobile phone to verify their account:

   1. They live in area that does not have cell service;

   2. They live or work in an institution that does not not allow the use of mobile phones (such as prisons or secure locations, intelligence agencies, etc.)

   3. They are too poor to afford a mobile phone (poor people can still watch ads, and provide valuable content to the site)

   4. They have a disability that prevents the use of a mobile phone (e.g., they have accessibility hardware on a desktop that won't work on a mobile device)

   5. They use a phone provider that Twitch doesn't recognize.

   In my case I live in an area that doesn't have cell service. I eventual got a mobile phone just so I could verify my Twitch account. I had to go through the process on the site, and then drive miles from my home just to get a cell signal to see the SMS message and verify the account.

   Now that AI is a thing, the other methods of verification are much less expensive for Twitch to do, such as a voice conversation to verify identity; or getting credit card info, bank info, etc., or many others methods to make sure a user is a real person and is who they say they are.

   Please consider adding other methods to verify a user besides Phone Verification.

   when I log into my account sometimes it says im on new device or location, but im not, it hasnt moved and i used it earlier today. and then it bugs me for an email code and so forth.

9. Automatic Unlinking & Won't Relink

   My YouTube channel was unlink, but it was working completely fine before. I didn't log out or anything of the sort. It was just working the other day, and only stopped working today. IDK what happened, but now I can't relink it. It only shows up with "Make sure the email you used for Twitch is the same as your google account." If anyone has any ideas or know how to fix it, pls let me know.

10. Unlinking connected accounts

    When an account gets banned it doesn't have access to the connections pannel anymore and so we can't unlink accounts (such as Steam, RiotGames or Epic Games accounts etc.) from it.

11. Random Usernames for non AFFILIATE accounts.

    Guys please read all of this and vote if you want this to happen. Much Appreciated.

    There is a problem for years with any other TWITCH STREAMER especially who are AFFILIATES that they want a USERNAME of their choice but its been taken and used already by any other viewer who is not a streamer or anything. So, to solve this problem here is an idea and I know we all want this. So the idea is that when somebody SIGNUP on TWITCH they will get a RANDOM USERNAME including of random numbers and random alphabets generated by TWITCH. They are normal account and they can do anything like STREAM or WATCH other STREAMERS but they just have random username and if they STREAM, once they get AFFILIATE then they will have the OPTION to have their own CUSTOM USERNAME of their choosing or liking and this thing also implies on EXISTING ACCOUNTS that are NOT AFFILIATES. This can solve the username not available problem for AFFILIATE STREAMERS. and the VIEWERS who just WATCH other streamers DON'T need a CUSTOM USERNAME because they don't need any kind of visibility or exposure they are on twitch just to watch but a STREAMER who is AFFILIATE need exposure and visibility and a CUSTOM USERNAME of their choice. So please TWITCH make this happen and its a problem for many years and many AFFILIATE STREAMERS are facing this issue including me and all of this suggestion or idea I think is the thing we all need and its a valid idea and I love to hear on this from you guys please TWITCH make this happen. 12. Bring back the follow age to the public

    I'm unsure as to why it was removed from the public viewing in the first place. But I feel as if it should be brought back so people can see it again. It was a big and staple part of many communities. It's been a feature for so long it feels not right having the ability to check how long I've been following someone not there anymore. Speaking from experience I have bad memory issues, so having the public follow age let me remember how long I was following a streamer for, it was nice getting to do that! Not every streamer does bot commands like !followage that'll tell chat how long they've followed for, so it'd be nice to be able to check it without having to try and type it and get it wrong.

13. Twitch removed a channel I follow

    I recently discovered my account was no longer following a channel I had been subscribed to. I know I was still a follower earlier in my day. At some point, I had left my computer on sleep mode and was not actively using the app. Soon after going back on Twitch via desktop, I discovered the channel was gone in my following list and had to re-follow.

    I'd like to believe it is a bug because there would be no way I would un-follow said channel. I hope this is something that will be seriously looked into and resolved if possible.

14. Followage of my favorite was reset

    When you originally follow a creator even if you you unfollow” or in my case sitting in chat and all of a sudden you can’t type your” original follow date should still remain at least since I never confirmed the unfollowing

15. No more mandatory phone number verification.

    This has been posted before and will likely fall on deaf ears again because there's money involved. But here I go trying anyway.

    Stop requiring users to hand over their phone numbers just to chat. I know bot problems are a convenient excuse to force this on people, but I still don't agree with it.

    I'm a paying customer. Have been for years now. Why do I still need to prove my authenticity by giving Twitch my phone number? Oh I know. Because data-brokers pay well.

    Let me put it this way: If I'm paying money for a service and I'm being prevented from using it until I also pay with information, doesn't that qualify as extortion?

17. the ability to remove drops and campaigns from inventory

    Too many times have we been watching a streamer only to have them raid another with content we are not interested in. The problem is now we have partial drops for games or content we don't want. We need an option to remove unwanted drops and campaigns from our inventory, something as simple as an X button.

18. Child account

    The idea is that we would have the ability to create “child” accounts that must be linked to a “normal” account where we could set it so that we have to manually approve content creators for them to watch. Unapproved content creators would not even show up in the home page feed.
    Included in the child account management should also be the ability to view a report of what they watched, for how long, and when.
    Of course child safe ads would have to be used.

    On twitches end, this would be a good gateway to getting the next generation watching Twitch and an additional source of revenue for subscriptions.

19. Make it easy to remove a recommended channel!

    I have to go through **** to remove Twitch suggested **** channels from recommendation list. It **** me off to no end that I have to play this stupid game of searching for the channel from browse menu to hit 3 dots to say not interested. IF YOU PUT IT IN MY RECOMMENDED CHANNEL LIST LET ME CLICK IT RIGHT THERE AND END RECOMMENDATION! FURTHERMORE I AM GETTING REALLY SICK OF TWITCH PUSHING HALF NAKED CHICK CHANNELS ON ME! **** PUSHERS!

20. Connecting to Discord occasionally fails

    This is a kind of bug report.
    When I connect from Discord to Twitch,
    Discord didn't appear in Twitch connections page.

    As a result, when I'm streaming in twitch, my Discord status doesn't turn into "Streaming".
    Of course I enabled streamer mode.

    This issue seems to occur for seven years.

    One of my friends also failed, but the others succeeded.

    I solved this by repeating reconnecting until Discord appeared in Twitch connections page.

    The connection processing should be reviewed.
