1. Spam - Removed by Reddit's automated systems

Reddit has banned me twice now for spamming while sharing Twitch content on my community page and my profile.

I'm filing another appeal and will try to post my content again, I hope this is not a problem with the integration of Reddit and Twitch.

2. Payout History Tab Doesn't Show or Expand

The Payout History Tab in the Creator Dashboard doesn't scroll or expand to show previous payout history before April of this year. I confirmed this with other Twitch Partners. Also the .csv file export is difficult to use compared to a .pdf.
I'd recommend looking into this so creators can see their payout history.

3. Do not go through with implimenting "Facial age estimation technology"

According to a post by Zach Bussey, Twitch is planning on implementing "facial age estimation technology" to ensure that the account's user is of the age they claim to be. There are many reasons to go against this, like security of the pictures or videos used, preventing false claims like people claiming to be a famous celebrity to evade age regulations, amongst others, but for me personally it's the limitations of these algorithmic based systems on people like me who look much younger than my written age. I'm in my late 20s but a few months ago when picking up something for a client, I was questioned if I was even old enough to drive. In a previous instance, I was struck with a temporary ban on TikTok because they assumed someone under the age of 13 was livestreaming when it was just me in a onesie in my early to mid 20s. It's partly why I switched to Twitch and use a vtuber model in the first place - to reduce the chances of bans for trying to stream because people misconstrue my appearance as younger than I actually am.

As I mentioned earlier, another concern is storing data of our faces. If a data leak happens again, there is now a face with the account information (in theory). If the streamer or chatter never showed their face on Twitch, using this form of age verification becomes a liability for them. It's even more important for vtubers who limit exposure of their physical appearance, or for those trying to evade stalkers, abusers, or domestic violence. It takes one malicious person to take a data leak of that high a significance to make it seriously dangerous for those using the platform.

My other point is that people might try to evade the system by using another person's face for age verification. We've already seen this happen in other platforms like YouTube where people tried to get around picture based age verification by using either video game characters or pictures of famous people. This undermines the actual purpose of the age verification method (ensuring minors do not interact with adult content). Some adults might do this because they don't want to have their face be used for age verification, and so will kids who think they are mature enough to be a part of the adult club. Because of this, some platforms have gone and done more extreme measures of ensuring age regulations are met, like YouTube's use of AI monitoring of watched content. With Twitch's set up, that extreme measure would be hard to implement, so you'll probably have to prune anyone using video game characters, famous people, or stock photo people as means to bypass the "facial age estimation technology" limitations. That brings up the issue of actual famous people or the actors/actresses that do stream on Twitch who would use their actual face for verification. You'd have to do additional monitoring/moderation to ensure that you are only pruning those that are using someone else's face, which adds more work to the moderation or security teams. It'll be more work overall to use this system.

I hope these points help to illustrate the issues this technology might cause. Please reconsider the usage of "facial age estimation technology" to guess a person's age.

4. Allow smaller payouts for beginner streamers

Currently, the minimum payout on Twitch is $50. For beginner streamers, this amount can be too high and may feel discouraging while they are still growing. My suggestion is that Twitch allows beginner streamers to make smaller withdrawals, even symbolic amounts, as a way of encouragement.

Any amount received can make a huge difference at the start — whether to invest in better equipment (like a microphone, lighting, or internet) or simply as motivation to keep streaming. This would create a more positive and inclusive experience for new creators on the platform.

9. Customizable Follow Lists

This idea would be a extension of another idea already suggested for favorites lists.

Instead of a favorites list, we have a system, where we can create custom lists and add streamers to those lists. It would be different, in that you can create a list for any purpose, like supporting people trying to get their partner push, people you like to follow, streams you don't want to miss, etc.

We keep the design open, allowing a list to be created for anything, making it a general purpose feature.

   Advantages:

   • Users who follow a lot of people, will get a new way to access their favorite streams and not miss them.

   • An open design, allows the lists to help better manage which streams they watch and a new way to track them.

   Disadvantages:

   • A user could create too many lists (we can limit to 5)

   • A user could add a stream to multiple lists (we figure out the solution for this problem)

   • A user could use this feature for hate raids (track list usage on the backend, correlate the streams on the list to their ban rate to determine abuse and take corrective action.

   • Do not expose this as a statistic to the streamer (could be a metric used to compare one's self to another streamer, adding another point, which could make a creator uneasy.

The initial design would just be for the list feature. Later, can be tweaked to add notifications. Maybe a more prominent visual pop up when someone on one of the lists goes live. We keep the design simple to start.

13. Please let us block categories

I'd love it if we were able to block categories. I already know about the way of blocking individual games from the 'Categories' page. It doesn't work.

Once you max out the blocked games list, it cycles them OFF your 'Category Feedback' list (settings) and back into circulation to be viewed again.

The amount of 'blocked games' isn't big enough. Lets say you don't like 'Pokemon games'. Well, once you've blocked them all that's about a THIRD of your list of total blocked games allowed. Blocking more games pushes previously blocked games OFF the list, unblocking them.

LET US BLOCK CATEGORIES. If I don't like racing games, I should be able to block all games in the 'Driving/Racing' category with one click.

I shouldn't have to scroll through hundreds of games in the 'Categories' page, searching each one with 'Find Word' based on the category of the game.

So, I reiterate, Why can we only block 'Categories' (which are games) and not actual categories (like Driving/Racing or Sports)?

How about adding a 'SEARCH' feature to the 'Categories Feedback' section of our settings? At least that way I wouldn't have to scroll through hundreds of games looking for the ONE that I want to block?

How about adding a block/'not interested' ability to the Categories page when viewing as 'High to Low'? Why are we only allowed to mark 'not interested' on the 'Recommended For You' list?

Why is this so hard? Why are we not allowed to have the choices that we make on our own accounts? Why do my settings of 'not interested' get automatically removed from my own settings?

14. Persistent "Go Live" Notifications - Send to "My Notifications"

"Go Live" notifications only briefly appear in a small corner of the browser window on PC. This is grossly ineffective, since they're easy to miss. Twitch PC browser users then often miss a significant portion of a stream, since their online followed channels list doesn't refresh right away.
(I tend to just skip watching the stream and taking a break from Twitch when this happens, while other users submit complaints that their notifications aren't working.)

There needs to be a setting to make "Go Live" notifications persistent in the PC browser window in "My Notifications" until the user has clicked on it. This would be similar to the persistent notifications which show up after earning a Twitch drop, being gifted a subscription to a channel, or having a channel subscription expire. Setting up "Go Live" stream notifications like this would make them much more effective for PC browser users.

16. Regional date setting issues when exporting your data

I believe there are some bugs with non-American locale settings while attempting to download the data about your account.

My setup: Windows 10. Affects both Edge and Firefox.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Set the regional date setting in your OS to Poland, for example.
    2. On Twitch, go to Settings > Security > Download your data.
    3. Select custom range from June 1st, 2025 to July 31st, 2025.
Clicking "Update" causes time format errors to appear in the JavaScript console, and the "Request" button does not become active.

Changing your Twitch display language to English (US) seems to mess with the expected manual input, changing the letters appearing when you delete the date from DD.MM.YYYY to MM/DD/YYYY. Neither of them let me properly select the dates, though, while my OS regional setting was set to Poland.

17. Enable notifications for channels without following.

I want this specifically for developer and publisher channels. I want notifications for their streams, but I don't want them clogging up my followed channels list, online or offline, keeping me from the channels I do want to see there. Hiding specific followed channels from that list would be an acceptable alternative.

19. Stop using my IP address to force foreign languages on me

Every time I click a legal document, it is in German. My OS, browser, and Twitch account are all in ENGLISH!!! It is clear that:

    1. You are using my IP address to force unwanted languages on me.
    2. You do not understand that Germany has no official language.

My account is in English. You do not have to translate your material into English especially for me. You already have it in English. Do NOT re-route me to a German site!!!

Use the language of my account when showing me anything. This is not new or difficult. Before this junk with the IP addresses that is how it was determined what language to display. You read the language of the browser, or in this case, you just use the language of the Twitch account.

Amazon is HORRID about FORCING content on me in German, even when everything, including Amazon Prime Video, for example, is set to English.

Just once, please stop forcing German on me! I have gotten to HATE the language!!! In my free-time, I want ENGLISH. Please.

20. FOLLOW REMOVE A CHANNEL

I just checked the channel of one of my favorite streamers and I’M NOT FOLLOWING HER anymore. 5 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS — GONE. Why? No idea. I WOULD NEVER UNFOLLOW HER — that’s years of loyalty and consistency. What’s going on? WHAT ABOUT MY FOLLOW AGE? Please, I’m begging you, give me back my follow age on the channel.
