2. Customer service for special cases?

   Not entirely sure what category this falls under, but, I'll describe the issue I am currently facing.

   I can't verify my account:

   My new-ish phone number is tied to an account with a bogus username and email that doesn't belong to me. I'm stuck in a position where I can't disassociate the phone number with the fraudulent account.

   In order to do so, I need access to the account and this is where things get tricky.

   You can log in with your phone number via the app. If you don't know the username, you can have a text sent to you with that info. You can then attempt to reset the password and log in.

   I did all of the above, got the username, reset the password.

   Next issue. The account is linked to my phone number, but, the 2FA is sent to their email rather than, you know, the phone number and Authy that ALL of my other accounts are linked to. They can also see that I reset their password and with a single click undo my change and likely have enough time to change their username.

   Since I don't know this individuals email, I can't do anything. I've submitted a ticket, several, actually. The email starts with a letter nowhere even alphabetically close to any email I have ever created, which is how I know this isn't a matter of user error. The email obfuscation only adding to the problem.

   I've been bounced around in circles all day trying to get this issue resolved. I offered to talk to someone directly via the phone number in question, well within office hours only to be shut down by automatically generated emails with dead-end links, completely irrelevant to my problem.

   As for solutions?

   Aside from having a body with a pulse around to tackle special cases such as this, I'm not sure. A simple call back would have likely resolved this issue in less than 10 minutes. Instead, I've wasted a full day, created a twitter, hoping to get into contact with staff, probably sprouted a grey hair, maybe lost a few of my others.

   Pardon the obtuse tone, but, this is frustrating. I would gladly help twitch resolve these sorts of issues on behalf of those who aren't affiliated or partnered. I've been on this platform for nearly a decade now, Twitch CX used to be great.

   Meine idee wäre ja das man eine Art patch datei / software die bei der Software (traktor, Rekordbox etc.) die Soundkarte steuert z.B. soll die Software erkennen welches Lied in Deck A , B, C, D ... reingezogen wurde und "verstummt" das Lied das man es nicht abspielen kann ggf. beim Vorhören somit hat der Streamer noch genug zeit ein anderes Lied zu suchen. Der Streamer kann ja manuell das Lied "makieren" z.B. bei Traktor in ROT . Der streamer sieht ja wann der Katalog upgedatet worden ist und kann sich das update der Software dann entweder runterladen oder es geschieht alles Automatisch. Es wäre einfacher und sicherer für alle. nur die umsetzung klingt für mich als Leihe sehr sehr Schwierig

5. Vrchat security and attire overhaul

   a better view bot detector and equal clothing attire for 2d and 3d thats straight forward, bc the category named (Vrchat) is known for both issues and most streamers don’t stream and publics so they are in control of what the viewer see and they are also wearing less attire then 2d and irl streamers

6. im not a bot

   unlock my account crowdog69b69t because im not a bot or automated account. something like this should be a simple fix but this platform has allowed troolls to shutdown my account in a moments notice and therre is absolutely no way to rectify the problem. I submited a report and if you expect me to wait 6 months for an appeal when im not a bot you have lost your minds.

7. Before one of your inept clueless staff member suspend someone, make them ACTUALLY COMMINUCATE WITH THE MODS ON THE STREAMERS CHANNEL

   Since i know a majority of you clue and dense twitch staff members are uncaring, unthinking bots, ill type this to the few HUMANS LEFT WORKING . Before you all ban or suspend someone actually do the BARE MINIMUM AND ACTUALLY TALK IN THE CHAT WITH THE MODERATORS TO UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON. You all keep banning / suspending people like https://www.twitch.tv/lordmuffinrat WHEN HE WENT TO SLEEP. He wasn't " DANGEROUSLY INTOXICATED" You would have known this if you had TALKED OT ME OR ONE OF THE MODS or dare i say go above and beyond and... oh i dont JOIN HIS DISCORD SO YOU COULD HAVE SEEN HE WAS UP AND AWAKE AND NOT DANGEROUSLY INTOXICATED LITERALLY 4 MINUTES AFTER YOU ALL Suspended him.

   I dont know as time further progresses i just sit back and think maybe it would be a good idea if someone doxxed all of the twitch staff, just so we can confirm that half of you are real flesh and blood human beings, and not some automated program that lacks the intelligence of a 3 year old.

10. User Account Age Verification

    When a user makes an account under Settings > Security and Privacy Have the user request for age verification to few streamers that are marked as 18+ this will lower the chanses of having a viewer under the age of 17. not saying it will stop it 100% but it will help ID the users that are over the age of 18.

11. Unfollow games and follow games broken

    on my twitch account I can't unfollow and follow games I followed when I tap the heart icon it disappears and don't work I emailed multiple times and did everything the email told me to do an it still broken. It broken on PC , mobile an console twitch app I would either like this bug fixed or just make following unlimited like YouTube pls it been 3 years and it still broken I hope this gets seen by twitch an fixed soon.     The Username charset is too restrictive. I would like to use Greek letters and spaces. Also, Display Names seem pointless if all you can do is change capitalization.

13. Create a paid expedited process for indefinite suspensions

    In my time on Twitch, I have seen many accounts get suspended for reasons that don't seem to warrant indefinite bans. Often, there appeals are met with bot messages that don't seem to actually review the violation or take context into account. The loss of users can damage communities greatly and can lead to issues of malicious reporting. My suggestion is to create a paid expedited process in which a user can pay twitch some amount of money to expedite their suspension appeal and get a human to review their request. This would be profitable to Twitch and would allow users who's accounts were incorrectly indefinitely suspended, to be restored.

15. ISP recognition

    2FA and ISP recognition - can you approve the Karoo ISP which is a smaller ISP for Hull in East Yorkshire, UK. Everything has been fine for years but recently, when you clear cookies, it says we need to approve a new device and you are suppose to send the code. However that code never comes though to the Karoo domain ISP email address. Is there a way for us to tell you about this and that code to be sent to our email? the code never comes. Your staff are kind and temp remove that requirement for the code to be put on. as a long standing Mod, there are times when I need to get back in quickly and stop whatever is happening to my streamers. 17. Memorialize Accounts for users that have passed away

    If a user has passed away, and this can be verified with an obituary or a death certificate, it would be nice if Twitch could auto-cancel any subscriptions coming from that channel, and give the channel a special badge that indicates that this user has passed away, or change the bio to say "Legacy Account" in front of whatever has been written in the bio (if anything), or above the username.

    It may even be nice to add a comment section so people can leave a nice memory, sign a guest book, so to speak (this could be moderated by a family member/friend/current moderator), so members of the community that user was in can share memories of the friend they lost.

    It's always a very sad time when a Twitch user passes away, so let's make the process easier on Twitch, and use the accounts as a memorial where people can come together and remember their friend and fellow community member.
