1. Error Prevention

   Make the linked game accounts visible, if I link one of my 2 or 3 Riot Games account i want to be able to see which one is conncected and possibly have a switch between them. That would avoid people to claim objects on the wrong account as it happened to me and loose 1 hr with the support to ask to change the accuont of the reward, thing that they are not able to do.

2. hide phone number/added security

   when you look in the privacy settings in your account, you can see the full phone number for your 2FA. Can this be blocked? When changing and entering into privacy, pw and 2fa is enabled again. amazon does this and I feel that they are taking our privacy seriously. 2FA just doesn't do it anymore, esp if you can bypass it the first time

4. Twitch Authenticator To Lock Twitch Settings

   Someone keep changing the settings to the settings I selected for Twitch. I had the idea to lock the settings with an authenticator, but that service wasn't available.

7. Starting Soon Signs

   Dear Twitch

   Could streamer etiquette be update to ensure streamers start streaming within 5 minutes of their going live notifications going out. It is really frustrating waiting 30 minutes in some streamers streams before they bother to go live or heaven forbid inform views that they will be delayed with an eta of the stream start time.

9. The "streamer is now live" notification placement

   The notification you get when a streamer you follow goes live can beautifully fit in the space between the search bar and the notifications box instead of blocking the top portion of the chat.

10. Digital Identity in Italy (SPID) - Can solve insults and threats

    In Italy they have created a Public Digital Identity System (SPID), for any request within the city or province you must have this Digital Identity.

    Twitch's problem, I would say the biggest, are threats and insults, a very important solution is the BAN but it's not enough!

    We must note that there is too much chaos on the web!
    •
    By applying the SPID system at least in Italy, Twich "Beta" could test this reality and then maybe expand it in Europe and maybe even around the world!

    With digital identity we will no longer have insults, threats of any kind!
    I often read comments in the chat of racist, sexist, homophobic type, with this identity putting the face to the comment we will have much less problems.

11. Ensure promotional notifications don't abuse the wrong notification category

    I recently received a notification with the message "Get in on the future of hip hop and R&B: Guapdad 4000, Kari Faux, and more at Move Forward Fest 2020" that links to the moveforwardmusic channel, but it was labelled as "Moderation Needs". This was probably a mistake, but I think this should have never happened in the first place, especially when I have the Marketing notification category turned off.

    This suggestion is for Twitch to better improve their notification procedures in order to prevent this issue from happening again. Proper notification controls are important for users to ensure they don't feel spammed by them.

13. 2-Factor Authentication system

    Me and like many other people have been on this site for years building our stream and community’s. They one day we get to become affiliates, so we set up our 2-Factor Authentication but then we get locked out of our account and r unable to return because a bug doesn’t send sms code to our phones so we can log in the Authy never works so, the idea is to fix this so we won’t have to start new accounts.

14. Make notifications open a new tab

    Notifications right now hijack already opened twitch tabs instead of opening a new one. This is annoying especially if i'm watching a VoD. I would like for there to either be an option, or for it to just open a new tab like Youtube does it.

15. Change the Recycle Program

    The recycle program needs a massive overhaul.

    There are far to many people waiting on unused usernames that are not released in a timely fashion.

    I have been watching two names for years now. One is simply completely inactive with zero information on the profile and has never followed anyone, for years. That account also has never responded to private messages to even suggest someone logged in. **** I'd buy their account name from them if there was anyway I could contact them.

    The other has the "Unless you have a time machine." message and may be an old twitch staff, or previous partner, but i have no way of knowing that. Can't they supply some reason to why I can't change to that name?

    Such as: "This username is unavailable and is exempt from the recycle program"

    Then in the FAQ they can just state the names that fall into this category are the old staff, partner.. etc names. So we know we won't get it. Transparency! And it wouldn't be difficult, Twitch I'm sure already has a list of names it will not release in its database, just tell us why.

    I would like to suggest that there be way when we go to change our name and it says its "unavailable" for name change, that we can request a flag on it. That it can then be checked for activity and if it is actually inactive within the username recycle programs guidelines it can be put in an upcoming recycle. I'm sure this can be automated, Twitch can see if a name has logged in within six months or a year and if not then flag it, and actually do this, not like right now where inactive names MAY be recycled but probably won't be in any timely manner.

    Inactive accounts under threat of recycle don't have to be deleted, you could just append the name with a bunch of random characters in case the owner comes back and you can be sure to send out multiple emails letting them know what is about to happen if they don't log in. Though this would defeat the purpose of clearing up space due to inactive accounts, at least you wouldn't be worried about someone not returning later because their name is gone.

    They should also in some way be required to actually use the name. Why are some names taken but are not in use? Is there protection from possible name sellers? (Not that i've ever seen one for Twitch but its common in other areas, such as website urls, mmos usernames, social media handles) What if someone has taken a name and only logs in once a year on that alt account but that account has zero activity, they don't chat or watch any videos? Is that fair or right? Why is that allowed? Shouldn't that name be available for someone who will use it?

    The current system suggests that inactive accounts will be recycled but it could take as little as six months or it could take years. We have no way of knowing when that will be or even if the name we want is eligible for recycle. I had a **** of time just getting twitch to tell me if Curse usernames from when Twitch bought Curse and automatically created accounts for them would be eligible to recycle. I was told all those names have already been recycled, but it took multiple emails and explaining on my end as the twitch staff responding just wanted to send me copy paste responses that never addressed my question.

    Of course partners/affiliates and old staff names should be exempt from this to avoid possible fraud/impersonation.

16. Pin Code to Open Twitch app or web

    Creating a feature to enable or disable to create pin code (3/4/5 digit) before login for authorized web pc or app. By having this feature, the authorized twitch app or web can be entered after by a pin. User need to input code digit before able to see home twitch screen as usual.

17. Remove inappropriate letter combinations in activation codes

    When activating my Twitch account on my Xbox One, I received a code to enter in at twitch.tv/activate that began with "***". Inappropriate combinations of letters should not be included in activation codes.

    Right now, after re-installing my Windows, I had to request an SMS authentication code for Web, Twitch App Desktop and StreamLabs OBS. Since I had to reset my password (forgot it once again, since I am not allowed to have an Easy password) I have totally requested 3 sms messages. After which I get locked out and I couldn't get a code for the Desktop Twitch App for that period of time, on the same PC.

    Authenticating the PC uniquely, without having to authenticate the pc each time when a login has occurred from a new App supporting Twitch Login, would be a lot better UX. Please consider updating your API, cuz I'm pretty sure that's what's handling it. I am even assuming the initial idea is that, but it somehow fails on a Back-end level.

19. View Active Account Sessions

    I would appreciate the option to see open sessions of my Twitch account and close them manually if they are no longer necessary or desired.

    This would be for security and peace of mind that no one else is purposing Twitch accounts without a user's permission and potentially causing issues in various chats.
