Stream App for mobile with alerts and browser source The mobile streamers want to improve our experience during live streams, but the available stream apps don't give us a complete experience, even if it's possible. Vertical games auto crop so movile viewers see fullscrean gameplay when your not streaming horizontal traditional stream Basically I stream clash royale with twitch app on a s21 ultra and would love to have my viewers watch with a phone and see it full screen without the black bars on the side. The 2 viewing options right now on the app via mobile viewing are small with 80% of the screen chat and black bars 70% of the viewing area or 70% black bars on viewing area and would love to see 100% gameplay in viewing area as an option as well please <3

PiP doesn’t work with chat (iPad OS) When watching a stream or a vod with the chat sidebar open, and the video shrunk beside it(not fullscreen), it will break Picture-in-Picture when leaving the app. Only audio will play.
If the video is fullscreen with the chat overlayed transparently on top PiP works correctly.5 votes -
Chat-Replay randomly stops When watching VODs with a lot of chat activity the chat-replay stops after a few seconds. It only continues when you restart the VOD.
App ver. 12.1.2

Changing language/language tag on mobile devices Currently on the mobile Twitch app, there is no option to change the language app so add it. For the language tag, we can remove it or change it.

Default Mobile Resolution for Stream Output option. Have an option for the creator to set the output resolution for mobile users by default to a lower resolution.
When I refer people to twitch to warch my stream from mobile they give up and say the stream is choppy or lagging because the auto feature always does the highest resolution instead of a default lower resolution.
I would rather the output resolution be 480 at first and not have them give up on the stream because 1080 doesn't work well with phone service. The auto option doesn't work well it seems.

Allow mobile users to contribute to community challenges Currently, people viewing a stream can not put their channel points into community challenges if they're on mobile. This sometimes makes them feel less than people who are watching from a PC as they aren't getting the same opportunities. It can also mean that community challenges aren't getting to 100% due to a huge number of their community being on mobile.
My suggestion is to allow mobile users to use their points on community challenges.

- A "sort" button (by progress, name, etc)
- A "refresh" button (to update progress)
- If the drop is for a specific streamer, a link that opens that specific streamer channel.

resolution button design looks similar to wermacht sign I think that button looks like Balkenreuz wermacht sign. And im as a grandson of WW2 veteran offended in some way to see that kinda things in popular stream service. Cant attach screenshot here, but i did it in official twitch discord support channel.

Streaming your mobile game-> Bluetooth audio fix please! Please for the love of God can you allow my Bluetooth voice audio to attach to a stream? I can’t be the only one frustrated that viewers (even if it’s just me lol) can’t hear the person streaming??? Kinda defeats the purpose of the whole thing no?

Fix the mobile app The mobile app really sucks at the moment if I’m being honest but I fell like the problems can be fixed. One thing is the chat and stream and how all that work. I don’t know if this is just me but the chat it about 10 seconds ahead of the stream for some reason. I always see chat answers questions the streamer asked like 10 seconds before they asked them and it makes chat pretty useless in mobile. Another thing that’s bad on mobile is the twitch predictions. Browsing games forces screen into vertical mode Since the last update, browsing the games in the Android app forces the screen into vertical mode. It is annoying, because I almost always use my tablet in horizontal mode.

Make horizontal player buttons less intrusive When watching vods or clips on the horizontal mobile player, tapping to bring up controls makes the follow, notification, and sub buttons pop up. WHY??
When you're watching live it's not a huge deal because you don't need to use the seek bar. But watching a vod or clip, it's insanely annoying having those buttons take up a third of the screen every time you want to go back a few seconds. If I'm watching a vod from a channel I've been subbed to for a year, why I would want the option to unsub and unfollow them popping up…

Host notifications on mobile When someone who isn't streaming hosts you, you see the "x is now hosting you" notification in chat which is only visible for the broadcaster but this doesn't apply for the Twitch app. For someone like me who has the chat open on mobile while streaming, it would be nice to get a notification when someone hosts me with 0 viewers. And maybe even see if someone is auto-hosting me.

Keep screen unlocked while using AirPlay to allow reading chat Prevent the screen from auto-locking when using AirPlay on iOS. I want to be able to read chat on the device normally while the video is sent to an external screen via AirPlay. Currently I have to disable auto-lock on the iPad to prevent the device from locking and chat disappearing.

Revert back to old update Ever since the update my app lags and sometimes the chat will just disappear. When creators pin or make polls, I can see the outline, but not the actual words or results. I’ve notice a huge difference in delay aswell. The stream will randomly pause and the stream becomes delayed. This never happened before the big update. Please revert

Bring back the watch streak indicator in the live channels list on the Following tab (mobile app) There used to be a feature in the Twitch mobile app that I'd like to see brought back.
When you open the Following tab, you see a list of live channels you follow. If you had an active watch streak with one of those streamers, a label would appear under their stream in that list — something like "Your watch streak: 198."
Then, once you opened that stream and claimed/saved your streak for that broadcast, the label would disappear from the list until their next stream.
So basically: the streak count was shown right there in the list of live…

Follow list in mobile app too short Hi.
My list of followed channels in the mobile app is too short. It shows only 10 currently online streams. It's either sorted by viewer, or random. However, I can't see all followed channels that are online.
Like in the browser UI, it should show all followed channels.4 votes
