ps5 I use Twitch on PS5 every day for several hours, and I’m disappointed that the console experience has not improved much over the years.
The PS5 app feels too limited compared to PC. It is frustrating to rely on a phone for certain actions instead of being able to do them directly on the console.
Important missing features include:
• replying to messages in chat,
• participating in polls,
• creating clips,
• replying to other users,
• scrolling back in chat to read previous messages,
• and overall having a fuller chat experience like on PC.I really enjoy…

Edge to edge Android app The Twitch app does not currently implement the mandatory "edge-to-edge" display standard. The status bar at the top and the navigation bar/gesture area at the bottom are rendered with solid opaque backgrounds rather than being transparent. This prevents the stream content and UI from utilizing the full display and creates a disjointed visual experience.
Edge to edge is mandatory with Android 16, so please implement this across the app. Content should be seen behind the status and navigation bars. The lack of edge to edge support makes the Android Twitch app look very outdated, creating a bad experience for users.

Mobile vods When I go through a streamers posted video any time I encounter an add it turns my screen black once the add has finished and I can’t continue the video, I then have to restart from the beginning of the vod and find where I left off. Please fix as I like to watch vids from time zones in can’t view live

Chat lines are being duplicated on iPadOS Using the Twitch App version 28.6 on the iPad, chat messages are being duplicated .
E.g. Normal behavior:
User123: Hey what’s up?

mobile i watched a whole stream on mobile and then when i was watching the vod on my pc it told me my “stream streak is saved” wdym i literally watched the whole stream on mobile. why is mobile twitch so trash?

links with @ does not show up as a link on mobile app Per Chatgpt due to changes youtube made any channel created past 2022 links will be youtube.com/@username - Only on mobile app when you type !socials the bot responds with channel link but Twitch mobile app does not see it as a link due to the @ sign in the link. This issue does not happen if watching on desktop browser. Is there any fix being worked on for this for the mobile app?

Chat overlay settings Add a remove “chat overlay” in settings.
People have OLED phones, and having bright overlay settings for the quick actions is very bad for their screen.
It is also quite distracting.
Not sure why this is added without adding a remove button so people can CUSTOMIZE their OWN preference.7 votes -
Persistent Fullscreen Overlay The four icons on the right side of the screen that are visible even when chat is disabled in fullscreen (sub, gift sub, emotes, and channel points). This feature is not fun for anybody. It only degrades the mobile viewing experience. The latest March 2026 iOS mobile update prevents minimizing the window, making the Twitch app unusable. Most people cannot block their phone, for an extended duration, for a Twitch stream. Having to leave a stream to use any other function of the phone is absurd. There are already more than enough bugs & issues with streams, streaks, connectivity, drops, etc. Limiting viewers ability to stay in app is bad business. You make iOS owners have to go to a desktop full version to get our drops, NOW we can’t even do that DURING a stream! This is so bad.

Linking accounts not working Currently the Linking of accounts are currently broken. Also maybe add a “support ticket” feature in the mobile app? Would be nice since NOWHERE on mobile I can find and to ask for help. Currently as of March 12th, 2026 I have been unable to link my accounts even after unlinking them and relinking them. My rewards still say “Connection Required” it can’t be internet connection because I wouldn’t be able to get to my drops to see that I NEED a connection.
