Edge to edge Android app
The Twitch app does not currently implement the mandatory "edge-to-edge" display standard. The status bar at the top and the navigation bar/gesture area at the bottom are rendered with solid opaque backgrounds rather than being transparent. This prevents the stream content and UI from utilizing the full display and creates a disjointed visual experience.
Edge to edge is mandatory with Android 16, so please implement this across the app. Content should be seen behind the status and navigation bars. The lack of edge to edge support makes the Android Twitch app look very outdated, creating a bad experience for users.
