The latest March 2026 iOS mobile update prevents minimizing the window, making the Twitch app unusable.
Most people cannot block their phone, for an extended duration, for a Twitch stream. Having to leave a stream to use any other function of the phone is absurd. There are already more than enough bugs & issues with streams, streaks, connectivity, drops, etc. Limiting viewers ability to stay in app is bad business. You make iOS owners have to go to a desktop full version to get our drops, NOW we can’t even do that DURING a stream! This is so bad.
