Persistent Fullscreen Overlay
The four icons on the right side of the screen that are visible even when chat is disabled in fullscreen (sub, gift sub, emotes, and channel points). This feature is not fun for anybody. It only degrades the mobile viewing experience. I get it that the company wants Twitch to be like TikTok live and other popular live streaming platforms for that sweet, sweet money, but it’s honestly disgusting to see how far twitch.tv has strayed from its roots. This fullscreen overlay appeared a few weeks ago, disappeared, and now it’s back. Please, consider removing it or at the very least include an option in the player settings to disable this.
