It would be great to be able to see what the people you follow are streaming With the new iOS update it seems impossible to get a list of people you follow and what they are streaming. I can see a list of people and the number of viewers they have but without the preview or the title it's hard to tell if I want to watch or not.

Revert the UI update This update is beyond terrible, I genuinely don't understand how this got past QA testing. Now when I open the app, it starts autoplaying a stream I don't want, playing at a loud volume, and also occasionally completely breaking and making my app unresponsive? I don't want the app to recommend me streamers I don't want to watch in an awful tiktok interface, I just want to see my follower list when I open the app. And don't even get me started on what you've done to the following list. Bring back followed categories I am on the new Twitch app just released today.
Where are the followed categories? I don't want some algorithm to recommend me what's popular or what it thinks I want to watch, I want to watch games I want to watch, and there are so many that it is difficult to recall at any time. I want to know whether there are viewers or not even if there is nobody streaming these games. Don't replace followed categories with recommendation algorithms even if it is so called predictive. Come back to the previous display The display of the application following the last update isn't very much better. This is not intuitive (user friendly). Subscriptions are not displayed directly but you have to go to a folding panel. Subscriptions are not listed in descending order (viewers). And there are way too many options. Too many menus on the bottom that are not important on the mobile version! The fact that we arrive at a ''live'' menu where there is only one person to whom we are subscribed and then others (where we have to scroll...) that we don't know doesn't really make sense.

Using prime sub Please make it so users can use their prime sub through the Twitch app. It is extremely inconvenient doing it online. Most people these days use cell phones for everything. Trying to find a computer to apply a sub monthly is annoying.

New UI ruins the app for me Please please please let me just look at the streamers I follow who are live and what they are streaming. There is now no way for me to quickly get this information, and I’m not even sure I can get it without videos automatically playing. This makes the app entirely unusable for me. Please change it back.

Bad update. auto-play feed The exploration feed is so horrible. I had to scrounge around to figure out how to leave feedback. It does not promote exploration and discovery. It actually just slows down my user flow and puts me farther away from the content I want. The auto stream feed is laggy and redundant to the actual stream with chat open

Bring back old twitch mobile The old twitch mobile app was good and they had no reason to change it, it now looks like a hybrid of Instagram reels, tik tok, YouTube shorts. Also, no one wants to have a random stream open every time you open the app

Down-size, Move Down, or Disable Featured Clip The “Featured Clip” is frustratingly oversized and takes up way to much space. It doesn’t need to be above “Live” or “Recommended” either. Move it down or make it a tab at the bottom with the other search features.

New Mobile UX is Unsuitable for Stream Viewing Dear Twitch
Since you're testing the new UX, I figured I'd send some feedback.
I really, really, REALLY dislike the new UX.
Twitch isn't TikTok. When I open Twitch, I carefully consider who I will watch judging by the thumbnails and stream titles. I will then watch those streamers until their stream ends. I never, EVER, watch a random stream and I don't think I'll ever will. Streams aren't short-form content. 19.7.0 home view on Android behaves counterintuitively, does not respect existing video settings The new Android application home screen has several issues which I group into two categories: ignoring previously-set application settings, and counterintuitive behavior.
When a stream comes up on the new home screen it unconditionally begins automatically playing immediately. This occurs regardless of how one arrived at this screen, and it occurs regardless of how the "Video autoplaying" account setting is set. Scrolling on the new app is frustrating On the new app: I want to scroll down through the Home tab and the Browse tab but it keeps taking me sideways instead (From Live to Clips or from Categories to Live Channels).
I have to swipe upwards multiple times for it to scroll down.
Also, scrolling upwards on Following Channels dismisses the panel instead of scrolling

Get rid of the new feature that automatically has stream playing when i open the Twitch app I opened my twitch app today and was immediately greeted with a stream of one of my followed streamers. This is terrible. Please give us the option to turn that off and have it function like it did before or better yet just get rid of the whole thing.

Browsing with stream playing is broken Others here have described in detail that the new format has many issues. I agree with the obvious ones and won't re-tell them here.
Another downstream issue to this update is that it's very clunky to start a stream, and then browse the app for another stream you want to switch to.
Let's say I start a stream from my follow list and then swipe down to minimize it (btw: this STILL makes a picture-in-picture window even when I have this setting off in my IOS settings- I posted about this over a year ago and it still isn't fixed).…8 votes -

Stories Please please please, have an option to mute some of the stories.
I keep unfollowing channels because of these cringey stories that the streamers post and that I do not wish to see, NOT EVEN in thumbnail mode.
Either think about a hide option or move the stories from the top of the feed - I am using twitch mostly on mobile and this is very annoying.
Also maybe consider these stories entirely?24 votes
