  3. While migrating to EventSub with 2.2 million webhooks, I noticed one thing that makes debugging with many webhooks especially difficult.

    Problem:

    EventSub subscriptions cannot be listed by a condition or type. This makes it impossible to find unwanted duplicates and its ID on the part of Twitch.

    Solution:

    By filtering by condition and/or type, you can find EventSub subscriptions and their IDs faster and more efficiently.

    In addition, we would theoretically not need a database that knows all IDs to manage event subscriptions.

  4. Some of us have websites- eCom stores, information websites, etc. I have a PC hardware review website and would like to wish to integrate it just like Youtube. I wish Twitch had the tools that worked.

    Twitch has embed code separately for viewing and chat. But it's rather a general code that has fixed width and height. You'd think a big platform like Twitch would have an official WordPress plugin with a responsive design. Also, plugins have better compatibility with WordPress.

    There are plugins for Twitch, but they have long been discontinued. There are so many websites out there that…

  7. We have bans/timeouts on the bans topic.

    We don't have a feed for message deletions.
    Or whom triggered a raid
    Or whom triggered a host.

    Some channels have a need to track/log all moderator actions for later reconcilliation, not just bans.

    (Or tracking down a rogue mod doing hosts when they shouldn't for example)

  8. Add filter for channel.channelpointscustomrewardredemption.add to only receive redemptions from own client ID.

    Additionally, add clientID as a field in the data payload to be able to route redemptions since we won't have a 1st party reward ID on file since our app didn't create it.

  9. Create new IRC/WS CAP REQ "twitch.tv/silent" which prevents any non-staff+ whisper to the connection.

  10. It would be useful if we could accept or reject a list of redemptions for handling batch accept/reject events.

    Some examples of usage might be using Channel Points to join a game or a queue where a limited number of people can be accepted in. An app may need to reject a long list of users.

    We have a use case on an upcoming feature and I'm concerned we'll easily hit the rate limit if a few of our larger channels make use of it.

  11. It would be great for alerts, and goal bars to receive the sub count information along with each event, similar to the progress on hype train, they push the total, goal, and progress in each event, so the precedent is there for eventsub to expend on the core data. Something similar to the dashboard data would be great

    {
    "count":1,
    "score":1,
    "countbreakdown":[{"plan":"1000","count":1},{"plan":"2000","count":0},{"plan":"3000","count":0}],
    "score
    breakdown":[{"plan":"1000","score":1},{"plan":"2000","score":0},{"plan":"3000","score":0}],
    "nextlevel":{"minimumscore":15,"emoticon_limit":2}
    }

  12. The autoscale option works great in bigger resolutions, but I don't want to sacrifice breakpoints entirely. It would be great if I could toggle autoscale to kick in after a certain width. This would allow for fine control for smaller resolutions and still enjoy scaled up versions of my biggest breakpoint for huge resolutions like the 4K fullscreen mode.

    My biggest breakpoint is at 500px so that's where I start scaling the extension.
    I made a quick proof of concept of this if anyone's interested.

  13. I'd like to see an API endpoint that gives me information about the level of support for a given channel/streamer and user/viewer combination.

    On one hand, I as a viewer want to have a way of getting my total numbers raised in support of a given streamer (that is, user BhaaLseN on $channel).

    On the other hand, I as a streamer want to have a way of getting total numbers raised by a particular viewer of mine (that is, user $viewer on BhaaLseN).

    The former is meant for viewers and addons like FFZ/BTTV that display numbers: amount of subs gifted…

  14. If is possible for a user to demod themselfs.
    And it's possible that a user can be modded by someone whom is not the broadcaster (in super rare cases)

    Please add this information to the Mod add/remove topic.
    It's handy for tracking a "oh why is this person not a mod suddenly" as the broadcaster.

  15. Chat has a number of states, slow mode/follower only mode.

    Some moderationg applications involved monitoring for these states and responding as needed, and these applications will currently use PubSub but only in a logging capacity so alternatively connecting to chat for this data is perhaps overkill.

    Please provide an eventsub topic that relays
    - when/what Roomstate changes (slow on/slow off sub on sub off emote only)
    - which moderator/user triggered the change.

  16. With the way how certain bots work, Webhooks wouldn't work with said bots. So my Suggestion is to include PubSub so more bots can utilize features like Hype Train and other stuff included on twitch.

  17. There are more and more cases working with different teams, especially with more and more hackathons, that the need to separate groups for different projects on Twitch have become more of a need. There were talked about a Soon™ feature to allow multiple organizations, but nothing has come about. This would be great to allow, and then allow movement of apps between personal accounts to an organization on the site once this is setup to help management, or a form to allow twitch to process the movement.

  18. Document URL or port for streaming VOD audio track too!
    For context, I'm livestreaming using FFMPEG because OBS is quite heavy if I want to stream in my Chromebook (btw I'm using NixOS instead of ChromeOS)

  19. Now that Subscription Limitations are capped by a "Cost", it would be nice to have these subscriptions disable themselves automatically, rather than ever applying to the limit.

    IE; I never make any subscriptions to events, unless I have authorization from that channel. When that channel revokes authorization, private events that require authentication (Such as subscriptions) get disabled. Public events, such as stream up/down do NOT get disabled, but instead start having a cost against my limit.

    I would rather ALL subscriptions get disabled, not just private ones.

    Otherwise I need to handle disabling subscriptions after a REVOKE is made on…

  20. The troubleshooting step for "I’m sure my My Rig configuration is correct, but my extension doesn’t work." doesn't work. All it did was make it so that the developer rig can't find my project anymore. It also can't create new projects.
